  1. That's it!!! I can't take it anymore! Could you tell me what exact model you have? For $150, I just might need to get me an early Christmas present. Thanks! This ought to compliment my Lamiglas Certified Pro Drop Shot special. Slow down the monkey has you in his evil grips ;D Post a pic of your new rod congrats!
  2. That must have made the trip worth it!
  3. I have seen some big one come up into the Potomac around Dahlgren Va
  4. Selfish - but some time I even catch this :-/ But really perch they keep swallowing the trebles and I hate to hurt them when I take them out.
  5. I learned most of my fishing from Micky, my co-worker at the time he was the first on to put a BC in my hands with a Loomis rod. He instructed me how to feel the bottom as I reeled it in what to throw out and when and not to keep changes lures every five minutes. Later that day he gave that rod and fishing has been a passion since.
  6. Bassmasters at the doctors office ;D
  7. It was all before you also muddy with your "Huge BPS 2 year sponsor deal" till you turned your back on them, you too could have had your own line of Muddy Clothes and Fish Hooks!
  8. Good info I alway check (mettle into my kids laptops for sites visited). I know as they grow older they need some privacy but I am a parent first.
  9. Sorry for your loss and the communities loss. It good to be remembered in such a positive light, make you think to help out a newbie on a board or on the water to make there experience with this sport a lot more enjoyable even if it takes some of your time.
  10. I remember they use to sell plastic runners you put on top your carpet for the boat to run up on.
  11. Welcome, and I agree this time of year go deep and come up
  12. Welcome aboard and I know what you mean with concentrating at work when you'd rather be fishing
  13. Little KOI on its family ;D
  14. Darn Boat Snake, that Sucks! I guess we should all take a look at where we park are boats and not make them tempting for a thief, toss a lock cable around the axle and through the rim would be easy enough.
  15. I put a couple lure on my lowes carpet and only one snag when I pulled it up it didn't need pliers or take half the carpet with it.
  16. I need to replace my carpet on the trailer also I wonder if they would work also.
  17. My wife and kids picked me up new seats, swivels and carpet for my project!

Stop you bad monkey.... ;D Dec 25 is almost here and I have to buy stuff for the kids.
  19. Update: just measured the beam it is 67 inches from the stern to about half way up then taper to 63 inches at the front platform. And I will have four batteries in the back bottom all 29's
  20. Its a 14 48 so the beam is 5 feet I started with the front platform from the front it goes back 5 feet, it is one inch under the rail. I was going to drop the deck down 6 inches and deck all the way back and add two more pedestal seats on the centerline for a total of three. Is this going to raise my center of gravity to high and the boat will be unstable (wobble for you technical types)? I have stood on the back factory flat seat on the water and it wasn't to wobble but adding 1/2 plywood up top is another story. Should I add some ballast? Anyone else deck the whole thing on the same size boat? Thanks
  21. Don't give up hope someone will figure they need to upgrade for spring and you will see a ton of boats hit the market over winter
  22. Cool beans, now you can work on it as a winter project. Congrats!
  23. Now that your going to be famous, I can see the sponsors bringing you a new boat, exclusive tackle line, and your own show.. Congrats!
  24. If it's meant to be hard wired then thats what should be done, Not jimmyrig it. Thats how houses burn down. I would rather stay cold than burn up : As long as you mount it on the baseboard like intended and the (outlet) circuit you plug it into can handle the amps ther is no safety issue :
