If at all possible string some fishing line back and forth over her roof and deck. They wont be able to see it and will avoid the area after hitting the line a few times. This is how some resorts keep predatory birds out of there Koi ponds they string fishing line in the trees zig zagging back and forth. Hope this helps. I have a Koi pond and I just use the owls I do have a net to catch the leaves.

Maybe those big fake owls with the bobbing head (walmart) around her patio might help they work on normal birds at my house

Some old guy owns the land and has posted it for No Fishing so you have to wade up to it from down the river. I tried to call no number knocked on the door never an answer. I call him the River Hermit, I would have paid him for access for my boat, it very productive. Above the Dam is 25 Ft deep+
