I like something subtle and very natural for clear water like a Bubblegum or watermelon. Staind and murky waters i use GP, browns blacks and blues etc. Darker colors. I also think some people exclude colors like chartreuse or a pearl white in dark waters which has produced very well for me. A pearl hologram and blue flek senko is the BOMB in the staind water i fish in.

When i was young and lived at home with my parents i rarely slept in my room. Now though once i get the kids to bed and everything finished I hit the bed. Plus if I fall asleep on the couch my wife wakes me up most of the time. I sleep sprawled out so the couch isnt enough room for me. The only way i can keep comfortable enough to sleep on it is if I put my leg up on the back of the couch. Looks pretty awkward. On a side note, one of my long time buddies sleeps on the floor. Everynight. He has a bed, chair and couches but prefers the floor. Since we were 12 up until now he still sleeps with 1 pillow and 1 blanket on the floor fully dressed. So freakin weird.

Im in and out of hospitals in the entire DFW Metroplex all day for work and sometimes all night. Its crazy how many billboards there are for all 60 hospitals in the area. There is one particular hospital North of me in Denton county. On the highway near the hospital there are 4 or 5 billboards about 1/4 mile apart that have there current ER wait time and a quick 2 line sentence on why you should go there. Its so ridiculous.

Before kids? 8-12 depending on how hard i partied the night before lol. Now? 3-7 reguardless if its a weekday or the weekend. I cant sleep past 8 am if my life depended on it so it all depends on when i get to bed which depends on my work load for that day and how my kids are acting when i get home.. So 3-7 is about right.

I have used reels from 40$-130$ and have had only 1 issue with 1 reel and that was a BPS Nitro Z reel. Abu Garcia Revo S is easily my favorite in that price range though. As far as a budget reel under 100$ the Abu Garcia Pro max is just plain awesome. The PQ is nice and a favorite of just about everyone and for good reason. Like previously mentioned, if you can find it on sale for 80$ its a steal.

Baby brush hog hands down. I have never gotten bit ONCE on the regular size. To me they are just a lump of plastic. Not trying to get off topic BUT, the Rge hawgs are money if your wanting a larger size. They shine for me when im fishing muddy/murky water. Most of the time though im using a baby hog in GP.

6'6" without a doubt. I put together a skipping setup using a 6'6" MH/F rod simply because i already had the rod in the garage and couldnt find any other use for a mh spinning rod. I do wish it was a M but it works for now. 6'6" M/F should be perfect.

Been hearing about this small lake right off the tollway by work. Perfect for the jon boat and trolling motor. Its almost to good to be true and i dont know how i havent heard about if before now. Has shallow - deep drop offs. A nice creek channel with a 4 ft drop. Weeds, timber and rocks. Average depth is about 5 ft, max depth is 14. We tried to beat the storm today but it was moving a little too fast. As soon as we got there it started getting windy and drizzling so we didnt even put the boat in. I threw a KVD 1.5 and landed 1 dink before we had to go. I also reeled this in and im not sure what exactly it is? Is it bait or fry? Thanks Yall!

Basspro offers 2 rods under 50. Neither of which have split grips. Graphite series and tourney special. Both great budget rods. the next one up is the bionic blade which has split grips I believe it is 60 something. Then there is the extreme which is 80. The tourney special, bionic blade and extreme go on sale often.
