Do You Match Your Jig Trailer
I match colors always. I dont look at names of colors though. A Green Pumpkin Jig doesnt have to have a trailer labeled "Green Pumpkin". As long as the color is a variation of green pumpkin or looks good together im happy. I just dont want a Brown and orange craw with a black w blue fleck trailer.

Powell Diesel Crankbait Rod
I did a search but only really found one response that i was looking for. Do yall have any problems throwing squarebills with this rod? I rarely deep crank, but i do throw squarebills to medium divers. The rod is only available in MH power so i want to make sure its not too much rod for a small squarebill. I have an old cheap M rod that feels like a ML and im ready to get something with a little more backbone, but i dont want too much. I was looking at either this or the BPS crankin stick. The Crankin sticks M is rated the same as the Powell MH. Thanks in advance yall!

How Many
If I see one more magic mike status update on Facebook I'm deleting it. My wife is with some girls and her mom. She wouldn't shut up about it since she saw the first preview months ago. I will say if you're single then wait outside the theater. The women should be ready to go upon exit lol

Senko Question
A little patience? lol.My PB was in 12 FOW on a senko so like deep said, just takes some patience since it sinks so slowly. Good luck!

Do We Stop Jerkbaits In The Summer
Fish go deep the hotter it gets so bottom contact lures will get thrown before a jerkbait that is high in the water column.

Employer/employee Contracts
Noncompete agreements are ridicolous. I just went through contract negotiations with my employer and they tried to slip this in their and offer me some horrible stock options within the company in return. If the contract is written up make sure it is done by you. If not, read it very very very carefully.

Rod And Reel Combo For Senko 100-150 Range
Alot of people say Medium power for weightless plastics. However, senkos as im sure you know actually have a little weight to them so throwing them on MH shouldnt be too much trouble for you.

What Makes A Good Fishing Buddy
Holy smokes man some of y'all need to lighten up. do you have a list of what makes a good wife or kid too? If I wouldn't hang out with you and drink a beer then I wouldn't fish with you either. That goes both ways. If you don't like the person then don't fish with them. If you do, have fun.

Action For Spinnerbait Rod
I personally dont know anyone who uses a crank and spinnerbait on the same rod. Most use a Moderate action rod when fishing cranks because you get the parabolic bend ( the whole rod flexes) which allows you to play the fish easier and keep more constant pressure VS just the tip on say a F or XF rod. I look at the hooks on a bait more than the bait itself to tell me what action i need to use. The baits weight is what determines the power. For single hooks like Jigs, t rigs and spinnerbaits i only use a MH/F or XF. For lipless or shallow-mid cranks i use a M/Moderate and for deep cranks although i rarely fish them i use a MH/Moderate. When i read this the first time it was like everything finally made sense. Thanks RW for breaking it down and making it easy to understand to us slow folks http://www.bassresource.com/bass-fishing-forums/topic/35514-rods-power-and-action-%C2%A0defined/

104 Today
I love it when summer approaches and we hit that first triple digit mark here in the south/ SW. Its like everyone forgets that from late june to late september it is triple digits just about every single day. I hate it just as much as the next guy but im not surprised. Im sure i will be a little more willing to complain when my electricity bill comes in next month. My wife liukes to set the A/C on 72 when we go to work. When i get home in the evening it has been running all day and says 77......All my hard earned tackle money spent on cooling an empty house.Long mike, can bruno make a pit stop and have a chat with my wife?

3 Rod/reel Combos...what's The Best Use For Each?
The Medium power rod would be fine for topwaters with treble hooks or a buzzbait that is within the weight range of your rod. Im not an avid frog fisherman but i know that almost everyone throws a frog with braid and a stout rod to get a good hard hookset. The way the frog is designed to be weedless makes it sometimes hard to hook the fish. Braid doesnt stretch so it drives the hook home better. Also because most frogs are fished around heavy cover and braid can get into and out of the nasty stuff that your flouro or mono cant. So yes to topwaters with the M rod and in my opinion, no to frog fishing with anything other than a stout rod and braid. Braid is very visible and does not sink which is why most people dont fish cranks with it. I know some who fish braid but tie on a flouro leader. I am not very knowledgeable when it comes to braid, hopefully someone else can fill you in on the positives and negatives. In my opinion though topwaters, frogs and cranks are 3 totally different beasts that need there own presentations. If it were me this is what i would do. Use the M for anything with a treble hook within the weight range listed on the rod. I would put on 10 or 12 lbs yo zuri. It is a mix of flouro and mono but wont sink. Flouro sinks so it will make it harder to keep your bait up while fishing topwater. Shallow-mid or lipless cranks do fine with a copoly like yo zuri because you dont have to work as hard to keep the crank down like you do when your fishing deep cranks. If that made sense.... If you are just really wanting to use braid then use it with the MH rod and fish your Jigs, T rigs and frogs that way. Again, this is all just what i would do. Im sure others would have their own ideas as well. Good luck with whatever you decide!!

3 Rod/reel Combos...what's The Best Use For Each?
I have had my silver max for a while and it hasnt given me any problems at all. Has pulled in fish right next to my citica and Pro Qualifier. The Pro Max is another great reel for under 100$.

3 Rod/reel Combos...what's The Best Use For Each?
I would use your M power combo for lipless cranks and shallow diving cranks like squarebills. Throwing a deep diving crankbait on a M rod is more trouble than anything. I would also use this rod for your weightless plastics. I would put either 12 lbs flouro or 12 lbs Yo Zuri. The MH will be great for Jigs/ T rigs and spinnerbaits. I saw you mentioned using the M power for spinnerbaits but i am confident you will be much more comfortable with the MH while throwing a SB. I would suggest 15 lbs flouro or 12 lbs yo zuri. 12 lbs might seem light for jigs and larger t rigs but if your not familiar with Yo zuri, it has a much higher break strength than its lbs test and most people on this board can vouch for its strength and abrasion resistance. Those 2 alone will cover just about everything you want to fish. I didnt include the ugly stik because unless im fishing for striper or salt fishing i HATE them. They are like wet noodles and setting the hook was always a problem for me. If you can make it work than more power to you. I never could. I think you did great with your selections and although they are not high priced shimanos like alot of people think you cant catch fish without, they will work great for you until your ready to upgrade. Good luck!

Tackle Boxes
I used to fish from shore and i hated carrying an "old school" tackle box. I bought a back pack from wal mart for 10 bucks, 2 3700 plano boxes for lures like jigs and cranks and also my terminal tackle. The boxes have removeable dividers so you can make room for more than you will need bank fishing. Then i bought this tackle binder http://www.basspro.com/Bass-Pro-Shopsreg;-Tackle-Binder-or-Replacement-Pages/product/37107/71372?cmCat=CROSSSELL_THUMBNAIL and put my spinnerbaits in it. Worked PERFECT and held more than you will ever need. You could put anything that will fit in there really and it is small so it will fit in the front small pocket of a backpack. Then used all the other side pockets and any unused room for packs of plastics, extra line, pliers etc. All in one backpack. All for under 30 bucks. Matter of fact when i go pond hopping every once in a while this is what i use. Good luck!
