No flames from me. Not one of my favorites, but Val Kilmer as Doc Holliday makes the movie worth watching in my opinion. The fancy cup work at the poker table in response to Johnny Ringo's gun play is very cool. Yeah, w/o Val Kilmer the movie would only be so so.

I got old issues, never received another. Too bad I liked the magazine. Now I read it in the store

I like this method myself. It uses the line, and the speed you will be fishing with. Just use a sharpie to write the depth down.

The 14 lb. motor should be OK then, I had one at one time, moved the 12 ft. boat good enough. Battery lasted all day easy. That boat looks bigger than 8', but maybe it's the picture.

Where are you going to be using it? Small pond, big lake?

8' john boat is kinda small especially if there are other boats or wind/waves around. Don't bring all your gear either.

Someone posted last summer about closing the bail by hand, instead of reeling it closed. I tried it, seemed to help. I also either let the line out behind my kayak w/o a lure, or on land and reel it in when the twist show up.

My mom owns a truck accessory store and she does spray on's. She doesn't do color anymore because she had to much trouble with it (fading ect..) but can get it in small barrels if someone wants it. Hmmm wonder what color white fades to?

There is a product called POR 15, comes in different colors. trick is in the prep work. It can be painted on.
