LBH, Here is a link to some software (mostly shareware) that you can download and perhaps DIY. I've never used any of these, so I can't offer any recommendations. Also, I'm not sure exactly what the end product you require is, so this may or may not be useful for you. http://www.freedownloadscenter.com/Search/vector.html KB- BR Lure Fun?

Well, here's the latest on the BR Lure Relay. I received the lure last Monday (it may have arrived a couple of days before that but I was out of town). I had planned on taking my little inflatable boat out on Saturday to see what I could due, but ended up being too sick to get off the couch all day. I felt better today, so I made it out to the water for a couple of hours this afternoon but didn't have time nor feel like messing with the boat. So I fished from the bank and the water condiditons weren't particulary good. The water was way down and very murky, but the weather was great. Anyway, I managed this one fish on the relay lure which is all I fished with until I caught this sucker. I fished it a bit longer and then tried some other lures, but this was the only fish of the day. I will contact one of you who have expressed interest in participating to get your mailing address and will get the lure in the mail as soon as possible. Good luck to all.- BR Lure Fun?
Thanks for the update. Good luck. Let's see some fish.- Swimbait Question
Poor Boy's Baits Tru Action Swimbaits.- Tough Pond
The wacky worm and the fluke ideas both sound good. I'd also try something along the lines of a Rapala minnow.- Linux Users?
Anyone else here use a Linux operating system? I switched over about a year ago when Microsoft tried to hold me hostage for another upgrade. Best decision I ever made. I'm running Ubuntu, Kubuntu, and Xubuntu (yes, all three). I switch back and forth periodically just to get a new look. It's totally free, so why not. Anyone else? If you haven't looked into it, don't be afraid to try a new system. It's much easier than you think. I make every effort to not use a Microsoft product when I can keep from it.- Swimbait Question
I recently purchased some of these and fished them for the first time today. The action is awesome...when it's upright. Any tips on how to keep it upright? I was fishing it on a 3/0 offset hook which brought the hook out just in front of the first "hinged" joint. I fished them with the hook pointing up which seems right to me. I'd love to be able to keep this thing running right...and it is for about 70-80% of the time. It's just that other 20-30% that I need to figure out. It looks as real as anything I've seen when it's running right. Anyone have any tips?- A Day off - pic heavy
It appears that perhaps his buddy never got line wet because he was snapping shots of some awesome fish all day.- Today's short outing.
Wait...you said you called the tow truck...so after he towed your boat to the lake, why didn't you get to fish?- I Made the National Honor Society!
That's awesome. Keep up the good work.- BassMaster magazine price increase
I get that one too. 3 years (21 issues) of Bassin on the same website above goes for only $14.65.- Cost of your fishing trips ???
When I saw the title of this post, I thought you might have been referring to the cost of TACKLE. I guess I was thinking that because I bank fished some rip-rap today and lost almost as much tackle as it cost me to drive there (1 Rat-L-Trap; 2 Flukes; 1 Jig w/ trailer...all gone! Yeah yeah...I know...how do you lose not only one but TWO weightless flukes over rip-rap??? I don't know, but I did it.).- Not too bad
Congratulations on a good day!- BassMaster magazine price increase
Don't order direct from Bassmaster. Order from here instead: http://www.magazinepricesearch.com/detail/bassmaster.html?terms=bassmaster 22 issues = $5 33 issues = $9.34 I've ordered several different magazines from that site and never had a problem.- How often do you get skunked?
Well if this year's YTD record is accurate, I would have to say 66.7% of the time. I've been out thrice this year and have landed one (small) bass (today). But, otherwise, between April and October, I would guesstimate my skunked odds at no more than 15% of the time.- First Tournament
I have two "first" stories if that is possible. My absolute first tournament here in Korea, I fished in the "amateur" category which NOW I know means that you fish from the bank. Well, then I didn't know that! I thought..."Wow..I'm a lock in...I'm the only amateur with a boat (inflatable though it was). Well, several hours later with iced over eylets and zero fish, I learn that out of somewhere around 200 fisher-people, there were a total of around 15 fish caught...none by me. Then I discover that even had I caught a five fish limit, I was illegal, because I fished from a boat. Now I know...never just show up for a tourney. My other story comes from my first pro-am tournament. Here in Korea, pro-am tournaments are fished as a team...so the pro does care about the amateur he draws. Well, it being my first tournament, I'm feeling pretty good about myself. I had all the right equipment etc. I LOOKED like a fisherman. Then I broke off the fish that would have put us in the top five (we finished 7th) (top five = prize money...anything else=fun) That's the only Korean I've ever fished with who didn't invite me to fish again later.- First Bass of '08
Well, the weather is warming up a tad over here. It made it up around 50 degrees today so I headed out to the water after two weeks of working 12 hour shifts without a day off. You would have though it was the middle of June judging by the number of people at the river. Beautiful day! No ice left on the water and just a few days ago there was still snow left on the southern sides of the mountains. I was surprised to find that the water was about 30 inches above it's average level...especially at this time of year. Anyway, I went out with four rods pre-rigged fishing from the bank. Threw a floating Rapala (silver F-11) for a while without any luck before switching to a Bass Assassin. Got one hit on that but missed it, later lost the bait and switched to an *** fluke. Threw a jig and a Rat-L-Trap for a while before losing both in the rip-rap. And then went back to the Rapala which pulled in my first bass of the year. (Sorry, no pics...nothing to brag about anyway...12 oz?) Anyway, except for the lost tackle, an all around great day just to be outside again. I'm signed up for a pro-am tournament next weekend. Hope the good weather holds up for that. If all goes well, hopefully, I'll have some pics to post as well. Good luck to all. KB - BR Lure Fun?
