  1. Yea! But if I had one the fish would get a break because I'd be playing with my Down Scan and not fishing.
  2. I'm thinking of buying one to replace a Motor-Guide bow mount. Can anyone tell me the difference betwen the MinnKota Terrrova and the Power-Drive? The mount seems different but that is all I can see beside the price. Does anyone have Terrova or Power-Drive with the I-Pilot?
  3. Thanks Wayne. I liked the downscan feature of the Lowrance but it was too expensive. Now that HB has the same feature and its a free upgrade it would be a better deal.
  4. I did not know that. Can it be installed on all of the side scan units?
  5. Lowrance has the down scan feature. Hummingbird does not. I wonder how that will figure into equation.
  6. They may be a little far from Allentown but both the Delaware and the Susquehanna offer great Smallmouth fishing.
  7. Is there an air vent on your tank? The vent needs to be open when your running. The fact that the engine revs up at times sounds like fuel starvation. Mine does that when I run the fuel out of the carb.
  8. Don't ask for forgiveness, it's not necessary. We have all been in your position and we all want to help you. If the tank is built in then you would not have a bulb. A bulb is found on the hose between an external tank and the engine. It is used to pump gas from the ank to the motor.
  9. It sound like you might have an air leak in the hose. Make sure the bulb stays firm. If you run it and it starts to die try squezing the bulb and see if it starts to run properly. The hoses have o rings in the fittings that can leak and the hose or bulb could be cracked.
  10. That's mean comparing a beautiful fish to Rosie O'Donnell.
  11. I think it would be a good idea to talk to them. We use them for one float trips. If you need the number I can get it for you.
  12. Interesting idea but there are liabilities. You would need insurance, etc., to protect yourself. By the time you satisfied the legal requirements there may not be any money left over to put in your pocket.
  13. Tell us about his other lure.
  14. If your in State College then the best smallmouth water around is the Juniata. Most of it is wadeable (is that a word?) down to the Susquehanna. The Susquehanna is wadable (?) but the best areas are above the confluence with the Juniata and on the east side. This is not to say you cannot find good areas on the west side. I actually waded across the river on a few occasions above Millersville. Now you have to watch water levels on both rivers but especially the Susquehanna......then there are the Musky.
  15. I fish it often in May. One of my favorite baits is the twister tail or grub. I usually look for rocky shoals or islands but as Md said they can be anywhere that time of year. BTW pike fishing is good that time of year and take your camera. It is a beautiful area.
  16. Some people are evil.
  17. Late March can be high and fast on the river. Where do you plan on starting? It's a big river.
  18. Another great river lure is the Bettle Spin. I like white or yellow.
  19. Think smaller. I use stuff like small twister tails, small minnow plugs, spinners and Road Runners. Tiny Torpedo's also work. Now don't tell anyone but the best bait is a real live minnow. BTW I have been fishing the Juniata and the Susquehanna for a long time. They are great rivers!
  20. They give you oil when you buy the reel. I think they do this because they do not put sufficient lube in the reel at the factory just in case it could leak out and ruin the packaging.
  21. I'll let you know if red is better than black as soon as I figure what color works best on my lures.....don't wait up.
  22. Yes! I have a 17' boat with a 40. While running I can adjust the trim and watch the MPH change on the GPS.
