  1. i had this problem a little while ago, i replaced the pump and all the hose to find somehow a little nugget of silicon was free floating in the end of the hose entering the livewell--when running it would block most of the water, but i didn't find it cause it still let plenty of air by it. At least i have a whole new set up now.
  2. i'd agree with a 7ft. MH fast ..it's an all around choice, and like said above you could probably get a combo for that money at BPS
  3. ok don't get me wrong on this, i own a couple of both...st croix is really great and with great warrants too. g loomis is all that and better i just cant afford them beside my frog and worm rods. g loomis has a rod to match anything( i mean anything) and a couple of choices within that for personal preference. IMO they are the most well built, sensitive and durable rods. by the way their frog rod is a must get--u cant find a better one! But i'll tell u that the st.croixs and the quantums (which i have a lot due to my college budget) do just as good as anything.....just if i had the money i'd take it a knotch
  4. i'll tell you if money wasn't an object i'd go with shimano and g loomis combo..
  5. of course the ole' hold some branches and spray technique for a quicky
  6. that's awesome u got to meet KVD! when i was on the water in Lake Toho during the Classic a couple of years ago i got to meet Rick Clunn...except i had my arse hangin over the back of the boat doin some business..he still waved though! ;D
  7. +1 and the fuel filter

cool man, sounds like ya laid into em' ...u ought to bring a camera to show off the bigguns
  9. yeah i really can't believe that out of Lake Seminole. i know its an awesome fishery , but that must have been some weird weather for such low four day totals.
  10. i hope they're still going at it on the river, i got me a tourny coming 8-)
  11. Sounds like a good setup to me...... +1 8-) +2
  12. you can also use fluro with cranks to help get more depth. and another use for braid is flippin heavy/dense cover. - i dont use a leader for this cause it's just another knot to break. u ought to try some new coploy lines for your treble bait--they're stronger and have less stretch (IMO)
  13. yeah it'll be good, optima batteries are great
  14. its the part that u mount to the hull and it sends signals to the bottom and back to show depth, conture, sturcture, grass, fish...ect ..it's the eye while the monitor/screen is the brain and about which one to get for cheap. im a huge humminbird fan but think for the $100 range the Eagle (made by lowerance) is the better option. i've have a couple on smaller boats like yours and they work just fine
  15. aww cool, congrats! now be a good parent and put them to work..don't let them vegitate. (but really nice collection)
  16. i use my 6' med 'casting' for pitchin small cranks under docks. a spinning -good for vert. drop-shot or skippin docks

i agree with this, you just gotta figure out if the fish are active or not..try both to see which works at that time.
  18. polomar w/ mono -everything else gets a uni
  19. i just bought it today. like i said $1.99. maybe it was marked wrong!
  20. well let me tell ya something too..not all "floating" plastics 'float'..maybe by themselves with no hook in em- but then how ya gonna catch the fish? what i use for trying to keep it somewhat afloat for soft bottom lakes is i put a rattle in the plastic bait. the air tight rattle seems to at least keep it boyant while adding some more sound (like a tube ). ...on hard bottom lake just let it drag.
  21. i was walking around BPS today picking up some tackle and i came across this new line...G Power?? made by Gamakatsu and Spro. I purchased this spool of line why you might ask... well because i want to try some new, clear, small diameter line for a spinning reel....Oh and it's was ONLY $1.99...now i am not dumb but what would it hurt to try this line out?(not in a tournament or nothin).. i even asked an employee and he said some people have bought it..I know at the first sign of trouble i'll toss it out, but it actually looks and feels quite strong and durable.
  22. 8-)yeah i knew there was a good reason i live in Florida! :
