  2. yeah i never could seem to catch any in the mouth. I believe they're vegitarians...but if they eat night crawlers...!?! ..anyway the only way i catch em is snagging or giging..
  3. i like p-line but think brekley vanish is more manageable
  4. oh yeah i think there are practice days mixed in with that
  5. yes backlashes are worse with fluro due to it's springy characteristics and braid it limp so it doesn't jump up as bad.

  7. on another forum i use they get tanked. they post a picture of an oil tanker. kinda makes ya feel dumb...
  8. anyone been to lake monroe lately? i have a tourny there mid march so bedding would be slowed and was thinkin of finding some post spawn patterns. any help would be sweet!
  9. i fish Fishers of Men trail in central florida. they have divisons everywhere. i think they have three divisions in Ga. www.fomntt.com it's a great trail with good competition.
  10. i voted local(im bias of course) because i used to work there and he sponsors me. And he can get me anything from BPS and more for cheaper. 8-)
  11. St. John's River saturday water temp. 68 deg. sunny wind on and off 10 mph bed fishing was on! started culling by 9:30 but couldn't get big momma in the boat(biggest was around 4 lbs). finished tourny with 10 lbs--lost a seven, a five and a three, all were hooked but jumped and spit the hook. i used a variety of baits all t-rigged, bb crickets, paca craws and little dipper(lime ice) winner had 26 lbs swimming producto buzz tail red shad in eel grass in lake dexter. big bass was 10-7
  12. yeah i'd use a palomar too if a fish pulled like that machine...what about SHOCK. that is what breaks the palomar, and that's how a fish strikes. yes i use it sometimes on mono line but not with fluro or braid..the uni is king there IMO.
  13. i think you just need a normal fishing license...your not allowed to shoot any game fish- bass, crappie, bluegill ect. i go all the time with a gig and a bow and always slay a ton of mudfish
  14. i use spot remover and reaction innovation shakey heads
  15. ;D +St. Louis Steamer and Philly Fakeout... ;D
  16. Berkley Vanish. because of the low memory and strength.
  17. my man Terry Scroggins.. or Peter T. and of course you can't count out KVD.
  18. PSE pro series Bruin w/ trophy ridge sight and wisker biskit rest
  19. yeah their comin to Florida! they're fishing the Kissimmee Chain after the Sunshine Showdown at the Harris Chain..
  20. 10lb suffix elite or berkley vanish
  21. those look great!
  22. honestly IMO i'd use fluro, unless your flippin heavy/dense vegitation., then i'd use 50lb braid -nothing less..(i use suffix, but power-pro would be next option)
  23. basically putting backing on the reel is to ensure the braid won't slip on the spool when set...though i always put quite a bit on to reduce the usage of braid(it gets expensive)
  24. well it looks like i'll be stickin with my suffix braid. thanks yall
