X2 A culling or balance beam is absolutely the fastest most accurate way to cull. Scales can be less than accurate on a rocking boat while trying to be quick in determining which fish to cull.

I watched a show on the Ruf factory and was very impressed with the Ruf Porches. A Ruf keeps the Porche factory warranty also. IMO they are the cream of the Porche crop!

1997 Ranger R-17 with a115 Merc. That was my first bass boat before that I had a flat bottom 12' jon and a 10' v bottom aluminum that were not tourney ready. When I decided I wanted to start fishing in tournaments I had to get a "real" bass boat. Before I bought that boat I would fish tourneys with my brother-in-laws Ranger fisherman.

A better question would be where Don't I fish in Ohio. mostly on the eastern side of the state though.

Doubt if anybody will be able to or care to. No offense but, those are both the ole Al Linder hold the fish close to the camera type pics. All I am gonna say is they are both nice fish!

I drew 63 out of 80 in a tourney so just about every plan A,B,C spot was taken. I went to a place where I knew I could a least pull a limit. Between me and my father we caught over 40 keepers from this spot and was culling withing 45 minutes. I didn't get to fish this lake prior to the tourney and learned after it was all said and done there were some early spawners. I stayed on that spot problably 3 hours too long. I then went to my other areas only to find boats in every pocket I wanted to fish. I really shoulda left much earlier and taken my chances following boats around my primary spots cleaning up what they missed. But I just had some sort of brain malfunction hoping that spot would eventually produce bigger fish as I have pulled a 14lb. bag from there. Oh well chalk it up to stubbornness and move on. It was a fun day fishing but not for a tournament!

Used to be a pick up the check at McDonalds on the way home but, I don't eat fast food anymore and the economy has been sucking for awhile now. We figure at $5 you can pick a new lure or two up and make worthwhile.

Beautiful pic Chris. I wish I had your photography skills. I took my daughter out last Wednesday and we have a few lakes the have created habitats for Bald Eagles. We watched as the Eagle was searching and finally made his dive coming back to the nest with a nice size bass as we were close to the nest we could see the action. Its was quite the expierience for my daughter as she had never seen this before. Once again AWESOME CHRIS!!!

Mayweather, I too think he is a little cocky but, I do think he deserves to be somewhat. The money flashing and all that b.s. is just to show out for his wannabe posse n followers. I could do without that for sure. Mosley is just a little to old and is not going to be able to keep up with Floyds pace. I am not going to predict a K.O. but, Mayweather by decision. Mosley IMHO has more power and could always pull off a K.O. In my circle everybody is saying Mosley was a fool for taking this fight. I hope it is a good fight thats all!

For those who don't know the Medina area hatrix is not lying. EVERY OTHER HOUSE OR PROPERTY HAS AT LEAST A 1/2 ACRE POND. I would venture to say medina has more ponds per capita of any county (barring Florida) in the country.

I can hit a thimble at 40 feet. : I can land my bait on the top of a pinhead at 40 feet! Seriously though 40-50 feet is a good pitch and I am accurate to there but have had occasions where a little longer was needed and didn't have much trouble. Problems arise pitchin that far when there are obstacles in the way. Our main pitching lakes here are loaded with willows and tons of laydowns. Put a sorta limbo stick up about 20 feet away 2 feet off the ground and try to hit targets 10-15 feet on the other side while pitchin under the stick. To be really good you must practice with similar conditions you will come across on the water. And then practice some more!! You also must be able to pitch past your target and have your bait enter the water rather quietly! Thats important.

My father and I fish together quite often. Usually he pulls a big one out of his a**. This year he will be my tourney partner as my usual partner just had a little boy. I never turn down an outing with my dad with the exception of him and a couple guys going to Michigan for King Salmon in the fall. I have no interest in those trips for some reason.

My dad is on vacation this week relaxing and I was supposed to go out with a buddy from work on his boat. Well he got off a half hour before me and decided he couldn't wait so, I called up Pops and told him to get his gear ready we are going on my boat to my friends home lake. On the way I called my buddy and told him we would meet him there and made the ole $5 biggest fish bet. Well I ended up catching 2 12-13 inchers my buddy caught 0. Meanwhile dad caught these two a 4-6 and a 3-2 plus pocketed ten bucks. Serves my bud right for not waiting for me.

Awesome Dwight!! I didn't know the big lake was that warm already! I just might have to change my plans and get up there this weekend!!!!

I did really well in the club I used to fish with and was just a nickname for me by a couple of the older guys. They all had Ranger boats and whenI traded my Ranger in on A Triton tr-20 they started calling me The tr-20 one.

I know some of the fellas were talking about meeting up at Presque Isle this spring but, has anybody set a date in stone yet?
