  1. I use my lowrance to find structure, depth, brushpiles, baitfish and the water temp also the thermocline.
  2. That was great, 2 years ago I saw Harold Allen sitting in the lobby at Wal-Mart in East Texas but i did not get an autograph. It kind of shocked me.

  14. I stopped keeping bass about 5 years ago. If I want some fish to eat I will catch crappie, brim, or catfish. I have given bass to others on the lake if I thought that it was not going to survive.
  15. caught two last year a 5.12 and a 5.08 on the same day. planning on going bigger this year
  16. One week ago today I was fishing Lake Welsh in East Texas. It was 31 degrees with freezing rain all day. It rained about 1 1/2". The fog was so thick I couldn't see to the end of a cast at times. Oh, I was in my Coleman Crawdad with no bilge, so by the end of the day I was standing in 3" of water. Caught a bunch of fish but had to quit about 3:00 PM as I had no feeling in my feet. It took about 45 minutes of driving with the heater on high to finally get feeling back. same here the past two weekends, but caught fish. stuck my hands in the water to help thaw out. water temp mid 60's on this power plant lake
  17. hope you plan on going to a school that offers collegiate bassfishing
  18. rabbit is very good , during the times that wild onions are plentyful they can have that flavor. I was born and raised on wild game to me there's nothing better than squirrel, deer, and rabbit. not even beef
