  1. Tie it like this, and you won't have any issues.
  2. Junebug and Dirty Sanchez work for those two patterns just fine.
  3. I don't think you'll see the benefits of living rubber on a spinnerbait.
  4. I use an Avid AC62MXF. Same rod I use for jerkbaits as well.
  5. I have a few CI4 2500, and I like them a lot.
  6. A recent report, made locally: It's going to about location, though. I was on that same body of water the day before, and while we caught, not nearly those numbers.
  7. That means the boat probably wasn't dry when you covered her up.
  8. That kayak is a great starter boat. I much prefer a SOT to a canoe.
  9. You'll be lucky if you get a shot at three fish as a co-angler. If you're in it to learn, then try it out, but if you want to be competitive, you have to go pro. I know a few guys that have gone as co's, and most said it was anywhere from tough to not very pleasant.
  10. I usually drop my bait to the bass when I see them on the graph.
  11. Similar to watching a bobber. Talk to the guys at that fly shop - they'll set you up. Can't be but a few bucks for them.
  12. I'm not a sponsor. I do similar work. I don't know Mike's secret to doing it so reasonably. I've sat with Mike at functions, talked at length about our work, pretty much everything but fish with the man. I wouldn't hesitate to let him clean my own reels. Maybe someday he'll come up my way to catch REAL fish.
  13. Click on the DVT link to the right.
  14. I've seen that in action - it saves a ton of foot in mouth situations. VERY COOL!!
  15. I hear there will be "one click" banning available to mods.
  16. Most of the swim jigs I've ever used were no more than 1/2 oz. more like 3/8 or 5/16. I'll toss those on a medium power rod. Spinnerbaits are usually 1/2 oz. medium or MH works well for me. I guess it depends on what weight you prefer.
  17. Look into strike indicators.
  18. I love watching guys try to land these things with 5 wt fairy wands lol.
  19. Pics really would help. Have someone with a camera/phone email a pic to you, and post it.
  20. The reason you won't get anything definitive is because fiberglass doesn't usually "dent." It cracks, fractures, shatters, but denting? If they really are dents, they'll probably turn into holes if you try to remove them.
  21. 8 wt is perfect for your tribs. Hooligan, here's a brown caught in my back yard last week:
  22. In my case, there were several small purchases made, none over $500. The bank let many small ones go through, in order to attempt to locate the thief. I imagine the card reader has an IP address they can track. I never did hear whether they caught the thief/thieves, but it was over 500 accounts affected. I can't help but think it was a bank employee.
  23. Now they green. Anyone that sees someone with it will be green with ***!
  24. If you can find a Citica E on sale, grab it. Gander in Henrietta was blowing them out the door last week - call them and see if there's still more.
  25. You want the MH power. An M power would even suffice.
