Its very possible that Mann's has been losing revenue on every Jelly Worm sold. Some companies resist price increases on certain products, simply because those products help them sell many of their other products. My family's restaurant sells $1.99 cheeseburgers, which is less than the cost to expedite that sandwich. They make it up with ither products. Mann's probably decided to reposition that product in their lineup. If its tough times for you, you can bet its tough times for a lure maker.

Some guys tape the sliding rings down, but I put a few wraps of tape on the reel foot. That way I can move the reel. Towards the end of the day, I change it so there is more butt end to tuck under my arm, just because my arm gets tired wielding a 13' rod all day. BTW, got out yesterday as well. Caught several nice fish, despite the ditches being filled with goons. Word about big runs and hot bites travels fast these days!

I use a centrepin and UL/slow rod for float rigs. Steelhead,'bows, browns,and even salmon are taken on this rig. Rod: Reel: Results (1st fish today, small brown hen, 22"):

1st Brown of the year, a pretty little hen. Caught 10 more, mixed bag of steel, browns, and obnoxious Cohos. Yellow worms and big beads ruled.

Trophy fish are almost always more about environment than genetics. genetics play a part, but fish grow throughout their lives, and environmental aspects are what grow monsters.

Two reasons that explain disdain for tent, other than its just pure lazy photography: Large items, try putting a 13' rod in a tent, LOL: See where you'd get trying to pull this off with a tent: I think I had like six gobos, some black, and some white all over the place, and I still showed up in the picture, LOL.

I think I posted before about my feelings on light tents.....they are for sissies! Two sources, 4'x4' softbox, and hard incandescent hot light for drama.
