Live Crayfish and their mannerisms
There are over 360 species of crawfish in the US. One, the "Rusty Crawfish" (Orconectes rusticus) is an invasive species in several areas outside their native Ohio that displace other, indigenous species.

Would it be worthwhile to purchase this broken G Loomis broken rod?
$175 for the rod $30 to ship it home $100 for Xpediter Seems like a lot of work for a rod that you won't be able to replace, since Xpediter is a one time service. That's assuming the deal is even kosher.

Well I had to. New Megabass rod incoming. Pictures Added.
My first rod was a split bamboo casting rod. It eventually broke. It had a Zebco 33 on it, which was a huge upgrade from the Flooger knuckle-buster that was originally on it.

The Man That Brought You Helicopter Lures...
He should have to fish with just the items he shills for. Problem is, he'd still get bit - they'd all be covered in Megastrike, LOL.

Not quite that good, bizz. ;D To answer some previous questions....yes, Camel Lights, but not in a week or so. Yes, one Chug Bug in the box at all times. You wouldn't want to drink what's in that Gatorade bottle. Its probably what drew the flies, LOL.

Best knot for attaching a leader to braid
I think the issue here might be the smaller diameter of the 10-12lb flouro leader that you are using. Just a guess here...but perhaps the 180 bend on the leader is being pinched down to such a small radius that it becomes a stress concentrator (kinked). If that kink breaks, you are going to get back a little a little club of braid with a frayed tag end. Sounds like what you are describing... As I mentioned above...I use this knot if the leader diameter is large: ~0.50mm diameter (i.e. 30lb flouro leader material). On applications I need smaller diameter flouro (i.e. finesse conditions) I just go straight flouro- mainly because I'm nervous about hooking a big fish with such a small amount of shock material. I don't have any issues with 15# Power Pro and leader down to 4#. In fact, along with bass, I've caught trout over ten pounds using this knot.

24*
If you're lucky, you'll get to hear idiots uttering something stupid like, "I guess this is what they meant by global warming...der dee der...." about a thousand times a day, for three months.

Wow. New low in customer service.
Hard to tell what happened here. No clarification other than, "Well something in the reel broke." Reels usually have a warranty. Things like this usually get "repaired by replacement." I'd have simply gone back to the store where I purchased the combo, provided it was indeed a defective item. If that didn't work, a phone call usually does.

Lets see what's in your fridge.
Actually, what's more interesting is what's on top of my fridge.

Reel maintenance (freshwater, not sure about saltwater)
On all but a few larger, round baitcasters, the levelwind is fully disengaged from the spool on the cast, and it make zero difference in casting distance whether you used dry lube or honey in there. Unless that line guide whizzes back and forth while the spool spins in freespool, then those gains are imaginary.

Most innovative concept to come out in the last 5 years
So has fluoro. To me, its got to be SI. Its a game changer for tournament fishing. It isn't going to make a champion out of an average angler, but a good angler can cut his/her search time way down. Sunken barge that yielded 50+ fish:
