  1. Beautiful work. I like that you kept the interior relatively simple. Is she stable with just one guy on the front deck?
  2. Then explain the difference in "intent" of the Share a Lunker program in Texas. Or ANY creel limit/size limit. Personally, I think there is extra scrutiny and criticism because its a fish from foreign waters. I love it when guys say that Japanese bass don't count because its not their native habitat. Same guys are proud of the brown trout records, and huge California bass.
  3. How is feeding baitfish to Japanese bass any different than feeding trout smolts to California bass?
  4. Slowing down usually means picking apart a spot, finding thre spot on the spot for that day. Sometimes it means slowing down my presentation. More often than not, if I'm going to change the speed of my presentation, I'm increasing speed.
  5. Previous hooking.

Alt-PrtScr will capture the top most window in the clipboard. Then paste in Paint or some other image editor.
  7. My guess is worried about shoot through hull on FB, while exposed on aluminum. Never had an SI, but want one. Have a 175txw with front and driver units. Was worried about how SI would work outside the boat with water disturbance. Any additional input in that capaticty anyone? It needs to be mounted outside the boat to work. I know several guys with kayaks that have SI units. They love them. There are some products in development/testing right now that will allow much more flexibility when mounting to plastic boats.
  8. Double willow in clear water, Double Col. in low visibility, Tandem for general purpose, and Single Col. "soup spoon" at night. 3/8 or 1/2 oz.
  9. Practice casting your reel will go leaps and bounds beyond discussing physics in reducing your backlashes. :
  10. If you want to know what they weigh, weigh them. I'll throw anything from 1/4 oz. weights to 3/4 oz. weights (not including the plastic and hook) with my AVC70MHF.
  11. That came about during a hair slime algae outbreak. If your bait hit the bottom, it was SLIMED. ;D
  12. Roadwarrior, you were asking about this very technique a while back, when details of it appeared in In-Fisherman. AJ, nice, nice fish. We sometimes do something very similar to this, but don't let the tube ever hit bottom. Pop it before it hits.
  13. I haven't ordered from Hi's, but a buddy has. Al went well.
  14. Another vote for the Slopmaster.
  15. Saranac Golf Course Inn. It was clean and cheap.
  16. That was the hotel room, on a recent trip. That's just a typical tournament package. I have many others.
  17. What fun is that? Cropdusting.
  18. I lied about all the fish I caught.
  19. Don't forget shipping from Japan.... Its not the only place to buy. Just saying. But you probably want to argue, I'll give you your ego boost, You win, a $150 Sol isn't worth the upgrade. I have three, they are beat to hell, and have caught a lot more fish than your trailer queens.
  20. XPS Fluoro is made by Toray last I knew.
  21. I guess I get better deals....$80-100 for a Bassart handle, Sols are $250 retail. I didn't mention the other options, because they were already mentioned.
