Is the North Side Always the Starting Point for The Spawn?
The northwest side of most waters gets the most exposure to the sun, therefore warms up first - sometimes. That's where all the myths begin surrounding bass behavior.

Dropshot bait/color choice
Also an excellent color for gin clear water. Something short and leech shaped.

Latest Color Research (Bass Vision)
There's another thread about DS baits, and black was mentioned as a "stained water bait." Black works in gin clear water, quite well. Especially if the bait is leech shaped.

Latest Color Research (Bass Vision)
Not even colors, just shadows. I'd consider this first before color. Presentation before color, always. Maybe though, the right color trumps presentation? I wouldn't know how to tell.

Medium power moderate action rods
Add small spoons, small jerkbaits, and drift rigs in current to small cranks.

BPT / MLF Format Rules Needs To Change !!
Isn't that why anyone pursues a new job? Is it this? Or is it for some improvement? I'd argue someone wanted to make things better.

BPT / MLF Format Rules Needs To Change !!
Poaching usually means something illegal. "any encroachment on another's property, rights, ideas, or the like." I guess you could consider the angler talent "property"? I mean, people leave jobs for better jobs all the time. I'm contacted by recruiters constantly. Is it poaching?

Get me in a kayak- Big boy kayak?
Peddling pedal paddlers is no joke. Another vote for the OK PBG II. I had an OG PBG, and it was stable and had a ridiculous capacity. Invest in the rudder kit, for sure.

Making a UV curing light chamber
Bulbs that emit UVB and UVC (I’m not sure you can even get the latter easily) are not inexpensive, and do not have a phosphor coating. From what I know about gel coat nail polish, the lights use UVA. I would not look directly at them either. I used some UVB lights for aquarium water sterilization, and you would not want to look directly at them anyway. Just a glance with sunglasses hurts your eyes.

Making a UV curing light chamber
Finally some return on that quarter-million dollar fine arts degree from NYU! BUt seriously folks, the UV box is pretty cool. Ones commercially made for nail techs go for $400 or more.

Those google eyes are at least $1.20!

Making a UV curing light chamber
I don't have $60 sheets of cabinet grade plywood scraps laying around. Have you priced any of this out, if you had to buy it all? I built a 5'x4'x14" kicker ramp for my son. Materials was over $120. Nothing cost pennies. It helps if you price things out as if the person you're showing how to build it doesn't have any of the materials "laying around." I would bet that this ran closer to $150, if you had to build from scratch.

Loooong Drop Shot dropper
Me neither. Often, I use an underhand pitch to make a 20' cast, especially if fishing on a drift. I'd rather pitch in front of the drift than drag behind.

Favorite Brown Worm-Not a Senko
Berkley motor oil Powerworms look green on most waters I fish.

NICE!!!!

Making a UV curing light chamber
That looks like more than $20 in wood, fasteners, glue, and various parts. What's the cost to someone that doesn't have the materials laying around?

Nice and clean. I love that you added fuses. I would NOT have put port and starboard colored markers on it. Other vessels might mistake you for an actual boat and not steer as clear as they might if they thought it was a canoe or kayak, with the one bright, white anchoring light, as specified by USCG rules. p. 29 fig. 7 https://www.uscgboating.org/images/420.PDF

I was fishing for thoughts on casting angles, but your observation is interesting.

Loooong Drop Shot dropper
You're basically cutting down the time waiting for the bait to get through empty water, from the surface to where ever you think the fish are biting. Turn 30' into 4' with a drop shot rig. For us northerners, it's like fishing in November or April.

Lipless one Knokers Booyah vs. Xcalibur
Are you a weeds guy or a rocks guy? I like LC LV500 for weeds, and Spro Aruku Shad for rocks.
