  1. Are they charging tax on used items?
  2. There's a lot of truth to that. I also think it helps to stick with the same bait, instead of having 10 different square bills. They all seem to act a little different.
  3. Leatherman Wingman works for me.
  4. It was 88° yesterday. Today will end up back in the 50s.
  5. Any balsa square bill will work well. It's more about learning to finesse the crank through the cover, and knowing what the bait will do when you kill it. You want one that backs up after the pause. Most have the right angle bill for that.
  6. I think about the purpose, IPT/gear ratio, and how it palms for me. That's casting reels. For spinning I only care about drag, weight, and IPT. I prefer a fast reel since I fish deep clear water for smallies.
  7. 10# Tatsu on my medium cranking rods. 12# Tatsu on my MH cranking rods.
  8. Or you can go to the MLF website and get accurate results. Since leaving BASS and joining the Bass Pro Tour, he's won zero events, and racked up $24,000 in earnings. https://majorleaguefishing.com/standing/2019-bass-pro-tour/
  9. He hasn't won any. He's earned $24k in MLF.
  10. Does the number if caught fish change? I mean, is the number of catchable fish go up on weekdays or is it the same, just that less anglers catch as many total as on the weekends.
  11. I pretty much never use a net for pike. If they aren't over 40", I don't bother taking them out of the water. I use a fish grip and 11" pliers. Grip the lower jaw and lock the grip. Then grab the pliers, and remove the bait. I support the fish's belly, while I remove the grip, and let it rest until it's ready to swim off. You'll feel it tense up, and they'll usually give you splash as they swim away.
  12. What ever you wear, make sure your purse matches your belt and shoes.
  13. It's the end of the world. What is there to survive?
  14. I would not be fishing, heh..
  15. Spro and Eagle Claw Lazer have worked fine for me.
  16. Omg, there’s more. Actually, these threads are awesome. I’ve been known to be a measurebator on occasion
  17. I actually fish all winter for my pet trout.
  18. Missd this earlier. Fritts use a reel with a dog and bone AR system for just that reason. I used to think he might be nuts, but what you're saying makes sense to me now.
  19. x3 - especially at night.
  20. Or did it hit, and I not feel it right? That Glen Lau video gets me scrambled in the head. On much of the footage, the hooks look bent under, so I think on lots of those strikes, there would have been a hook up. All the video proves to me is just how fast a bass will reject a bait, and what truly awful advice it is to "wait to set the hook" that gets uttered here over and over.
