  1. A single pad eye, strategically located, would resolve your issue.
  2. Not in a million years would I think this is a good idea. If you're that bad at it, time to wear a PFD.
  3. I really agree with this, except I START at 1/2 oz. Pretty sure my results are well documented here.
  4. Not all. The issue is that stability is a design priority, but speed is not as high on the list, primarily due to the propulsion devices. This why I like to find quality designs. The Wilderness Systems Commander is on such bot. Sill fast, and super stable. The Hobie compass is another. There's many times where paddling is easier than pedaling, and that boat is quick. I look at some of these alternate propulsion hulls, and I think to myself, "I would NEVER be able to paddle that thing, let alone car top it!" Supply and demand. The hype is all about alternative propulsion these days. I said it years ago that alternative propulsion will drive hull design. Why? Because you don't need as efficient a hull if you slap a motor on it. The really good companies do pay attention to it. It's why I ride what I ride.
  5. Become an influencer. I'm only here for likes and subs. Seriously, though. I like to sit back and watch the mayhem. Nothing really ever jumps out at me as game changing. It's just cool to see what's new.
  6. Wow, get well soon!
  7. Looking for some game changer to crush it in 2019 with their content.
  8. I've fished for panfish with it. Not many brookies other than one creek ,way on the other side of the city. I have creeks with salmon, browns, and steelhead runs in them, so no 3 wt. there, lol.
  9. I have a little 7' 3wt, and @TnRiver46 is right, it's not easy to cast. A 5/6 would suit your needs better.
  10. I hear you. Have you seen the rigging bullets from YakAttak? That's probably your backing solution. By the way, that's a pretty sweet trailer setup. Are riser/cross bars custom?
  11. Don't want to spend a lot? Get a complete. The owner of this company is a buddy of mine I've known since we were kids. https://www.amazon.com/stores/node/13180987011?_encoding=UTF8&field-lbr_brands_browse-bin=Wild Water&ref_=bl_dp_s_web_13180987011
  12. I've had no issues with the well nuts that came with the Hobie kit.
  13. I spray my hair with it every night before bed. Wake up and it's soft and silky!
  14. Let's see them! Post 'em up! Hobie Compass Mirage. I used the custom Compass Trolley kit from Hobie. Together in about ten minutes. I t would work on most any boat, so it's an option.
  15. Awesome job!
  16. I just priced out a Nitro Z20 with some extras I would want, like hydraulic bike seats, extra graph, upgraded Ultrex, tandem axle trailer, port console, cover, and it came out to $60k.
  17. I've fished Chaumont Bay, not the river itself. It's a little far from me, and not enough to lure me there. There's lots of info and reports out there, though. My buddy posted on a local board. He uses big one ounce hair jigs with wire leaders for pike and smallmouth. He did pretty well, Memorial Day weekend.
  18. I was kidding on the PayPal. Hosting a site this large costs a considerable sum of money.
  19. It's how we pay the bills. So, do you want it to be a pay site? What's your PayPal?
  20. Only Wednesdays that start at midnight.
  21. I worked last Saturday. I'm behind the drums. That's my queen up front singing.
  22. @Oregon Native just go to https://postimages.org/ and pick your picture. When you get the list back, just take the second in the list, Direct Link. It's that easy And congrats on the Vexus. I'd love to see some pics!
