Post a photo a day!
That time I talked smack all winter and spring about winning the North Country Roundup Big Bass Tournament on Upper Saranac Lake....and came through with a win, lol.

Minnesota Fishing Report - 2019
That's about the same depth here. We sometimes use a push pole to get into the bigger fields.

Does it hurt a fish when you drop it
Tens of thousands of trout are stocked in the trib near my house. Just preceding this stocking, thousands, and I mean thousands of northerns of all sizes come up the creek, and wait in the flats for them. It's actually a pretty amazing phenomenon. I paddle up there, and have 30-40 northern pike days with a beat up BB-Z Junior, lol.

I bet even more survive being eaten due to the bigger dispersal range as well.

Does it hurt a fish when you drop it
"Hurt" and "injured" are two different things. Fish don't feel hurt, but they react to trauma, as in, get me back in the water. They could be injured, but a short drop isn't likely to do much to a healthy fish. A cut could get an infection or worse, parasite or fungus infect the wound, but again, a healthy fish, promptly returned to the water has a higher chance of survival.

Could be water reed. I'd fish it the same. We have that around here too.

Minnesota Fishing Report - 2019
That stuff is called water willow, and it's all over Oneida Lake, and it's pretty fun way to fish. We use frogs and blind cast into there, and hope to feel the weight of the fish when we hear the strike. The other way is a heavy pegged bullet and something slender like a fluke or Pit Boss, and pitch at the moving stalks.

Is anyone else getting tired of the Squad?
It shows. The past year and a half, I've seen both a personality and editing style emerge. Mixing dramatic, joyful catches with informational, didactic content. Hats off indeed.

Helios SX
I like it quite a bit. It reminds me of how an Daiwa Alphas feels in my hands, size wise. As far as performance, it just work like any other reel should.

Nobody talks about rock bass?
Senko wreckers in spring. Seems like most disappear into the depths when the waters warm.

Bass boat, or kayak?
@jaimeastin You saw a Hobie Pro Angler, top of the line boat from them. I have a Hobie Compass Mirage Drive and love it. https://www.hobie.com/kayaks/mirage-pro-angler-14-360/
- I got my first boat!

No. It was a prank by a friend that was a tattoo artist.

If you are interested in Rapala or 13 Fishing
Probably. My point is that he'll figure out how to make them work, while putting money in the bank, rather than spend $400 on a high end rod. I think in some cases, the highest bidder gets the sponsorship deal. In other cases, they are already using the gear, and it was a natural fit. I couldn't say about that specific case. In our case, it's a mix. I probably wouldn't have tried the KastKing gear on my own. I like the reels pretty well, and they perform great at great price. I already love and use Siebert, Ragetail, Seaguar, Plano, Yum, etc, so they're a natural fit. AT any rate, these hyper exotic rods in those price points aren't really for professionals. They're for gear enthusiasts with the means to afford them. I think that's cool, too. I in fact just bought a JDM Zillion that 40+ IPT for a premium. I didn't need it, but I had to have it. It cost me. Now, if I could just convince someone to pay me to fish it!

Fishing with KastKing is his livelihood. He gets paid for it.

They haven't been bleeped out in months.

Best multispecies fisherman?
Out of BassResource members, I'd say @Tim Kelly or @Bluebasser86 qualify as some of the best. I bet their list of spp. is pretty long.

Any Luck In Upstate Ny?
I wouldn't get too discouraged, Conesus has handed me my own butt more than once.

Satellite imagery
If the image was captured in March, in Delaware, it's unlikely there any weeds.

I could never settle on a design. I have one now, but I have to settle with the right artist. I do actually have one, tiny tattoo, but it's just a dot. That's all I could commit too, lol. OCD about Soft Plastic Colors
That wasn’t even the biggest one. I caught a 19”, but there’s a story about that one. Let’s just say I won’t be endorsing BPS brand fish grips any time soon.
