Mister Twister Mag 12 Buzz Worm
Haven't tried the Mag 12, but the Thumpers are proven baits.

Better performance. There are some features that are server side scripted, meaning the server bears the burden of the "thinking," and those features are much faster now. Submitting replies, doing searches, looking into old threads, all seem to have improved.

First Time Steelhead Fishing
Those guys hit a bunch of creeks. I think that's Maxwell Creek where they caught them.

Half my trailer lights went out
Great tip. I do that too, but forgot to mention.

Half my trailer lights went out
A wiring harness and light kit is around $50 at Harbor Frieght. It’s the exact same brand that Autozone and Pep Boys sell for $70. I did my son’s trailer in about an hour and a half. Use the old wires to snake the new ones through.

Jigging spoons
Kastmasters are pretty versatile. Hopkins Shorty spoons are a little more purpose built for jogging, but can be retrieved horizontally. I prefer Cleo, KO Wobbler, Red Devils, Phoebes, and similar for horizontal.

First Time Steelhead Fishing
Kings are done, only dead mud sharks here and there for the bald eagles. I imagine Coho are done too. Browns are stacking up in the lake, waiting for rains and flows. The chromers will be right behind them, looting the redds for an easy meal. Should be anytime now.

Jigging spoons
They can be jigged. I'm just asking, because the thread is about vertically jigging spoons. I can't think of many places I could fish a spoon vertically from shore. Fishing wobble spoons horizontally from shore is bread and butter fishing up here. Very effective for many species.

I love the Dredge series. However, I use the one with the heavy Owner hook in heavy cover. Either way, you get a good cutting point hook. Just depends on where you fish and how buttoned down you keep your drag. Mike has made it so you’re basically picking the hook, the head, and the skirt you like. It’s really a custom deal, even though you’re picking off the shelf. Last thing, pay for the wire tied skirt. Those last forever.

Advice on comparing two boats. Which is more important boat size or age bass boat motor.
Running long distance WOT was my take on it.

Which Daiwa would you recommend
If you can afford $100, then there’s a few choices. Increase that, and you can have one of the best reel platforms out there. 20 years of evolution and tons of aftermarket options.

First Time Steelhead Fishing
I can tell you a story about 7 dudes, an sack of poles never used and HUGE nets. They emptied a stretch of trib that used to have hundreds Browns. With some help, they were eventually caught, though the fish were lost.

I understand now. I’d just adjust the drag. I don’t go below 50 on casting gear, or above 20 on spinning. Often I’m using a leader that is much less anyway. I rarely need to use more than 8 lbs. of resistance.

What kind of issues do you mean? You can throw any of the jigs on any line.

Which cast farther: Booyah Pad Crasher or Spro 65 Frog?
Aerodynamics can play a role, though not in this case. As can the actual rod and reel you use, again not in this case.

Which cast farther: Booyah Pad Crasher or Spro 65 Frog?
I gues you answered your own question the proper way: test it yourself. /thread

Let someone buy a spot on your boat?
I wonder if they usually fish together anyway. That would be the only way it would make sense.

Favorite lunch when fishing?
I forgot Vienna Sausages, too.

Which cast farther: Booyah Pad Crasher or Spro 65 Frog?
Definitely avid, and not a rookie. You're making your own baits! I am completely confused by the second statement, though. Hooking them is a problem, but they hook themselves? And you can cast them far? So, what is the problem we're trying to solve. We've already established that both can go pretty far, with the right setup.

Brand of jigs
Mata Brush has a mix of silicone and living rubber, Brush is silicone. Living rubber expands slowly when left at rest, so is nice for a slow presentation. Silicone flutters in the water on the drop, and comes in many more colors.

Favorite lunch when fishing?
That sounds even more plausible than the spiders deal I posted about above.
