  1. OK, so "Texposed"
  2. Are you saying the hook point is exposed? What's the point of using a weedless worm hook?
  3. Most any 7 MH/F rod will do in that price range. Tons of great options.
  4. You can also: C. skin hook the point on the side of the bait.
  5. Depends on the plastic, how soft it is, and what cover I'm throwing to.
  6. My buddy's Bullet is even faster. We picked up full mask motorcycle helmets at a garage sale for cold days.
  7. Or you could get your info from the source: 1-800-633-1468 https://www.humminbird.com/Category/Company/Contact-Us/
  8. I'd be careful with that - Mike's is in Canada. Shipping might be a bear. I've always found it easiest to work with Company directly, whether it's Pure Fishing, Daiwa, Shimano, Quantum, etc.
  9. Yep. I say start a new thread, if it's a new question. 12# Invisx on a 2500 size spinning reel isn't going to be fun at all.
  10. PM me an email address, and I'll look into it.
  11. Call Daiwa, and order the part. Chances are you'll talk to Toby. They're good people.
  12. I have a Bullet 21XDC. The consoles do just about nothing other than give you something to hold on to when I'm running at 85.
  13. Mark the spot, and wait her out, or come back later. Big fish are usually a timing deal. The important part is you found her location. I have no recommendations for magic baits or techniques. Use what you know, and wait it out until it's not in a suspended, negative feeding mode.
  14. They sometimes need a bit of tuning, but the come through the weeds like a champ. I usually add about 15° bend at the head.
  15. It's appreciated, sponsor or not!
  16. Siebert has been making jigs for BR members since long before becoming a sponsor.
  17. Exactly. Get bright colored ones so you can watch it zip across the surface. If it stops before it gets to the bobber, flip the bail and set the hook!
  18. This is their flagship model. There's new products coming out every year, or updated features. So, you can keep waiting and go without, or pull the trigger and have it now. I can't tell you what your guy was true or not because you don't have the details.
  19. I lose a couple to northerns. A plug knocker resolves any hang up issues.
  20. Not exactly float and fly, but I've done the float rig for smallies in current with my centerpin rig. They're fun with that setup. A true float and fly doesn't have a shot line, and the the bobber is a slip float with a bobber stop set at depth. The "flies" are light hair jigs.
  21. TW has the latest colors, including the KVD Magic.
  22. I have had a few sponsorships. I always let the company come to me. Otherwise, I'm not interested in the deal.
  23. Whopper Plopper territory. The Creek Chub wasn't a little bait, though. Topwaters almost always get a premium.
