Reel problems

Featured Replies

I recently bought a diawa lexa 100, which were discontinued. I fished it for about 2 months before the tension knob went missing. I can't find a replacement anywhere (not even diawas website). Looking to be led in the right direction to purchase another one.

Any help is appreciated!

I would think those are kind of universal to some reels. It might not be what came with it but you can find one that will work. Also, keep an eye on eBay for an original. Good luck

Call Daiwa, and order the part.  Chances are you'll talk to Toby.  They're good people.

if you cant get anything from daiwa or anywhere else you can order one from hedgehog studios as a bit of an upgrade

I'd be careful with that - Mike's is in Canada.  Shipping might be a bear.  I've always found it easiest to work with Company directly, whether it's Pure Fishing, Daiwa, Shimano, Quantum, etc.

I was wondering why it was so expensive!

I am with J Francho I always find it way easier to go directly to the company.

Call  (562)375-6800 or email CSR@Daiwa.com. I had an old Procaster Magforce reel from the 80's and they sent me free parts 3 times for it, even as recently as 2 years ago. I wouldn't check with anyone before them. You can't get cheaper than free. I didn't even pay postage.
