Some folks' funny bone is broken I wonder why guys with such great marriages have the need to point it out? Anyway, trust me, the failure part sucks, getting through it, and finding the light at the end of the tunnel is an epic success. But go ahead, hurl stones from your glass house.

It'll have an obvious seam and text along the ridge on the underside of the bill. The text is tiny, and states the model. Yours sounds like a new one.

I like Matt's hard baits. Soft baits, I like Hudd 68s. Top hook model, fished straight up. Fish them slow.

I have two of these rods with the same specs, one has 15# CXX, the other 50 # Kanzen. Copoly for rocks and gen purpose, braid for weeds.

Discard all the parts in the diagram, and substitute your hand on the rod as the "sensor." Nothing is more sensitive than that.

Used to dip net with my dad as a kid. Buckets of them, and everyone got them. It was shoulder to shoulder, more crowded than the Salmon R. on opening day, lol.

Daiwa Tournament series I think? I had a couple from the 90s like that, but they were silver and black, not white and black. The earliest split grip rods I saw were from this line.

I've tried many. None work as well as my thumbnail and a micro screwdriver. Spread the ring with your thumbnail, hold it open with the screwdriver.

Punctuating a properly formed sentence was a big moment in my life. Upgrading the wife to ex-wife was another. Teaching my oldest son to drive is pretty cool, too.

I cut through the ribs, using a large kitchen knife. After I get the slab off the fish, I fillet the rib bones off. This is for trout over 10 lbs. Pike over 8 lbs. I do a five steak fillet. I don't eat bass or panfish.

It's not easy to read. Unless there's a relevant and pressing reason to change the font, I'd prefer we all use the default. If you want to change it, change your browser settings.

You can't just order any rod with an "A" handle - there's usually only a couple rods with the short handle. If you want something not on the list, then custom is the way to go.

The base of the caudal fin is four fingers wide. Next time you catch a fish, measure that.

Probably not from a bag of ice purchased, but some of the municipal water up here can be pretty bad, so homemade ice may be an issue. Like a lot of things, it depends on the source.
