Any Luck In Upstate Ny?
I've had days in my 22' bass boat where I'd rather have been in my kayak. The only reason anyone would think its a bad idea is because they haven't actually say in the type of kayak made for this. I go out in Lake Ontario all the time.

Show your ride...
I'm thinking you'll see better speeds from the Stroker, they're just easier to drive. There's a guy on YouTube with footage of him going over 110 in his Stroker. Got a load and his girl in the boat with him, too.

Using A Jig As A Drop Shot Weight?
Better know how to tie a good knot. A properly tied Knot usually sacrifices and distorts the tag end. You are relying on this to hold another fish. This would be a good case for Spin Shot hooks.

Kayak Bass Fishing!
What you describe is pretty much why anyone serious about kayak fishing chooses a SOT. There are a few exceptions, but most use a SOT.

Spinning Reels Breaking At The Neck
I took it to mean the stem off the foot that attaches to the rod.

Cork Grips
Filler eventually falls out, even its sealed. Lesser cork has more filler.

Thrown Baits - What To Cast Next?
I check everything in my power that would prevent another drop, fix the things I can control, and keep fishing the bait until I feel it's not what will get bit.

Spinning Reels Breaking At The Neck
Never broke anything off, though I've seen it. Usually low end graphite frame models.

Early Spawning Bass?
Most big water up here is only 40-50, but there are shallow ponds that are in the 60s and males are on beds. Haven't seen any actual spawning.

Using A Jig As A Drop Shot Weight?
As always, the devil is in the details. Special circumstances require special disclosure in order to to get answers you *want* to hear. By that, it helps to have the full story when providing answers. I still don't know why two baits is an advantage in any of the cases. In heavy weeds, less terminal gear means less to catch weeds on. Twice the gear = twice the junk, but go ahead and try. My guess either a jig OR a bubba shot OR a punch rig OR a heavy jika punch rig is the best option for getting the bait to the fish, but not more than one at once. We also don't know the OP's intentions.

What Is This?
Fish eggs on birds' foot. I've always been interested in this. Who has actual science that supports this?

Best Split Ring Pliers
I bought a pair of them I the recommendation by guys here a few years ago. If I remember to use them, I do. I don't find them to be the great thing everyone made them out to be.

I got that monkey too. Gotta a starter for the 115 and Sporty for the ProMax. Ugh.

Which Split Rings?
That's my gripe with cheap rings, if they deform, then I have to toss it and start over. That's time and money.
