  1. Pretty sure Vegas isn't handing out student loans and financial aid, lol.
  2. I'm exaggerating - my 2.5 gets around 23-24 gph.
  3. I got mine so long ago, I don't remember the details. I used to get weights and measures from two counties to certify it.
  4. Thank you T9 - I guess mine is a IN12 too then. Haven't looked at it in 6 months. Hard to see the video on my phone.
  5. Or in the case of my motor, 25%, lol.
  6. I think it depends on what you call "moss." I bet Catt and I are on the same page - moss is the stuff some call coontail. I'd throw a jig in that all day long. Wait, I have! But if you're calling that slimy, hairy algae stuff "moss" then no. In fact, I often avoid those spots, unless absolutely driven there by big fish or big bites. Otherwise, it's not great cover.
  7. Phew! I had finger on the ban button for flagrant foul on the bait_monkey. Let's see that combo in a fish catch pic!
  8. They are accurate within 2 oz. mine was marked in 2 oz. increments. You probably can't see them on the video. Accounting for parallex, if it falls between the the 2nd and third hash marks, then you read it as 4 oz. No need to estimate anything. And btw, don't confuse RESOLUTION with ACCURACY. They are mutually exclusive though often misunderstood. Just because something measures mass down to the atom doesn't necessarily mean it's accurate to the ounce.
  9. Try walking a round bobber then, lol. That'll keep anyone busy for a while. Personally, what is thrown rarely has anything to do with it. All the skill in the world can't catch a fish where there are none.
  10. Drop shot is good for this. Fluke on a short dropper - deadly in the shallow slime up here, especially when they aren't in a chasing mood.
  11. That's a brush guard. It's mostly for wood. Don't yank your jig through the weeds, finesse it through. You can clear weeds with a light pop or snap of the rod. This can generate a bite sometimes, too. If it's snot weed or hair algae you're dealing with, then a different bait or rig is needed - one that doesn't get stuck in the bottom.
  12. That is a Chatillon, probably more accurate than what 99% of guys are using. There was a time when they were all the IGFA would accept.
  13. Yes, just keep it away from kryptonite.
  14. I don't think debating the semantics of what was posted is gonna help this kid get sponsored.
  15. I go more by feel, and aesthetics. It's not all utility for me me anymore. I'm probably more anal about pinching the suckers off my tomatoes than actually weeding, though.
  16. You're way more organized than me, lol.
  17. Pics when you get it started!
  18. It just needs to be a bigger bait, and you need a rod and reel you're comfietable with.
  19. To be honest, I'd only use lead or steel, but lead sales are banned for smaller sizes here. Sometimes I like the bigger steel when I don't need a lot of weight - it's size matches better with a big bait.
  20. There definitely is a break in period, but Power Pro has almost zero memory. After a couple hours of use, it gets nice and soft.
  21. Trout fingerling.
  22. I follow Willy Nilly's lead.
  23. They are a step up up, but not a huge step up. I won mine, otherwise they're out of my price range.
