Favorite Comedians?
You quoted me earlier but you must have missed Jonathan Winters in my post that you quoted. Speaking of the RIFFS and paying homage to former comedians, Robin Williams was inspired by and based much of his style on Jonathan Winters. Pretty cool. If anyone is familiar with Robin Williams, if you ever get to see any old Jonathan Winters, you will see how Robin style is very familiar.

toby keith shaves his armpits
I use clippers. Helps with the sweat in the hair and festering, the stink...need I continue? You'll also not be walking around with those tufts sticking out when you wear a tank top or go shirtless. Rock those clippers in other places and see whether your wives and girlfriends appreciate it.

The Best 10 Minutes Of Your Life
I think that hearing SRV do Jimi can give you a better appreciation for Jimi's writing. Jimi played it and it sounded great. SRV plays it and you say WOW! He brought out the best in Jimi's music, better I think than Jimi did.

Flipping / Pitching Rod Length - Is more better?
quote "I'll show you length matters: Flipping Contest, both of us in the same boat you with a 6'6'' heavy rod me with any 8 foot heavy, see who does better " Whenever I see a post go in the direction this one went in, I like to look at the age of the person where it began. (not necessarily all of time pamper crowd, just sometimes ) I have two teenagers so, I know of what I say. They know everything and there is no arguing with them. This thread started as a question for advice and turned into an argument about definitions and an interpretation of terms. Some terms aren't subjective, they're objective. Many had the definitions and terms correct. Pitching - shorter rods / longer casts, flipping - longer rods / shorter casts. AND PERSONAL PREFERENCE These aren't MY definitions. They are standard bass fishing 101.

Cavitron question
I read a comment from Alton Jones (I think) that said that most buzzbaits track one way or the other and some anglers actually prefer it to do so.

Cavitron knot help!
You can tie a palomar without a lure tied on. This is how. Take a good amount of line. (about 8-9" maybe more) Double it. Tie an overhand knot (like the start of a shoelace) but, just start it and leave it loose. Take the tag end loop and reach through with your thumb and forefinger. Grab the doubled loop. (this is where your lure would usually be) Pull it through the tag loop. (all the while always holding onto the the main line) Once you have it pulled through, spread your thumb and finger to open the double loop. Drop your buzzbait or spinnerbait through. Wet and tighten. It is so hard to explain but, so easy to show and do. Former Bassmaster Classic Champ Bobby Murray showed this at a seminar years ago. Been doing it ever since.

How Do You Spell S-T-E-W-P-U-D?
The thing I don't understand is why the commissioner doesn't just say, "enough, you're done forever."

CAPITULATION!
I am reminded of the Alabama song "I was born country" There is a line that says something about remembering when Wall Street fell but, they were so poor, that they couldn't tell. That's me.

science fair
My daughter did one last year on how vehicle emission effects soil. Earned her 1st in her area of science, 3rd overall (she attended a school of science and technology) She went on to the county regionals and earned a scholarship from the department of the college in which the fair was held. Maybe you should do something involving water quality and pollution. ("green" projects get a lot of attention) Water quality is something that affects your line of recreation.

stupid move
I did something very similar years ago. Took off boots, put on sandals. While standing at a table in the warehouse, I took a very small step backward into a skid. Tore a huge piece out of my heel. Learned my lesson.

FISHIN FOR ANSWERS
Hats of to you for being able to read it three times. I gave up about a third of the way through. If the caps don't get you, the lack of punctuation and spelling will.

Is a flippin' switch just a gimmick??
What is on those two Shimano reels is not a flipping switch. It is part of the spool release button that allows you to engage without turning the handle. Completely different from a flipping switch.
