I prefer full cork over eva but do have one high end rod with eva & I enjoy it. I do like the black handle skins on the St Croix legend extremes.

I have numerous St Croix MHM in Avids & legend extremes and love that blank for all treble hook baits. It will alo do a good job for frogs & small swim baits.

Two points. Point 1 Hard work with results is always noticed by someone. Point 2 I have seen a lot of treads locked down before but never would have believed an innocuous topic like cursive handwriting would stir much emotion.

I have the avid MM, MHM & the HM. I like the moderate action for cranks & jerkbaits. The MHM is the most versatile as it will handle 3/8 to 1oz baits.

Some days color is critical to getting bit on hard baits. But like others have mentioned some days any color choice will do. I think it has more to do with water clarity & light penetration under the water than actual color as we perceive it.
