Yes I was. Blade baits are vibrating blades like the silver buddy. I like to fish them vertically, like a jigging spoon. They can be very effective when the bass are hunkered down tight to the bottom.

Blade baits, spy baits & LJ crankbaits didn't work for me at all. They just plain sucked.

My point was both are made in Malayisa not Japan. I don't disagree that USDM could be better than JDM but typically JDM offers an upgrade from USDM. The obvious exceptions are the newer US releases of the conquest 2014 & the 2013 Antares.

Do you have a single axle or dual trailer? A non mechanical dolly will work with a single axle trailer. A mechanized dolly or a lawn tractor would be the likely candidate for a twin axle.

How about poles don't have guides.

They will hit both. The bigger size might limit your number of bites from smaller fish.

You can throw a lot of money at the sport of fishing or you can squeak by under the dollar radar it is all up to you. I don't care what you spend on tackle. But I do enjoy seeing guys learn the sport & being successful with their accomplishments relative to where you fish. Tackle is just a tool in your arsenal. I do always get a chuckle when I read or hear of someone catching a trophy on a low price outfit. It's kind of in your face.
