World Series. Who you got?
If the Braves hadn't had so many guys on the DL, the Giants wouldn't be where they are. ;D I'm pulling for the Giants, but only because I like Renteria (he was my favorite Braves player before he got traded), but I really don't care much either way. I'm just glad it won't be the Phillies.

Full or Split grip?
Full cork grip for casting rods. Foam grips remind me of Ugly Sticks. I prefer full cork grips for my spinning rods as well, but I suppose it's not a deal breaker if the blank is good enough since I rarely cast a spinning rod with two hands.

Same reels or Different reels?
I use different models from the same manufacturer, but they all use the same knobs. That way I can have application-specific rigs, but they all feel pretty much the same in the hand.

BPS Customer Service = A+!
I've dealt with BPS customer service several times and they've made it right every time. The only time they've really given me any problem was when I tried to exchange a Crucial spinning rod under warranty. I had to get mad and raise my voice a bit in front of other customers, but they eventually just refunded my money and I walked back to the rack and picked out a new rod.

OUUUUUUUCH!!!

What have you purchased recently????? 2010
Haven't fired it yet. It's very similar to a Glock internally, but with a MUCH heavier trigger and a much more ergonomic grip. Holds 16 rds in the mag and is a natural pointer. I've already dismantled it, polished the internals and slide flats, recontoured the mag baseplates for more comfortable carry, cut a piece of innertube to put around the grip, and added a set of Meprolight night sites. I'll probably hit the range next week and put a couple hundred rounds thru it to make sure it functions properly, then it'll take over as my bedside gun and the Glock will go back into the safe.

You don't have time for that crap. You're supposed to be on here 24/7, keeping the forum free of of "How do I fish these Senko thingies" threads. ;D

Worst band ever, 2010
X2 I voted U2 as well, but could've just as easily voted Nickleback. I also believe guitarkid is right, and Green Day definitely should've been on the list. It's all crap, I tell ya, crap.

What have you purchased recently????? 2010
Yeah, it's a cool little gun. Now I just have to find a 'smith who can do a decent trigger job and mill the stock front sight off and replace it with an XS Big Dot night sight. Once that's done, it'll be the perfect front pocket/ankle gun for me. The Glock 26 it replaced was just too thick and blocky for pocket carry.

New Tool for Men
Apparently Milwaukee caught wind of it and launched their own version...

Look At This (Seriously)
As delightful as it looks, I just don't see myself following a recipe written by anyone who would recommend eating Pillsbury's Grands Biscuit. That's just wrong.

A S&W 638 to replace my G26... and a like-new S&W Sigma 9mm...well...because it was only $200...

stolen debit card numbers
Ever since my wife's card got hit, she's been checking our account on an almost daily basis. If there are any purchases that she doesn't recognise, she sends me a text asking me what I bought. ;D

stolen debit card numbers
Had a waitress (or other staff member) at Applebee's use my wife's debit card # to purchase a digital camera online. She rarely uses her card for anything besides groceries and gas. The one time we use her card to pay for a meal and she gets hit. ;D I'm thinking it was just a kid doing something stupid since the charge was made within minutes of paying for our meal. The bank took care of it right away and issued a new card. Haven't been back to that Applebee's since.

Good movie choices. The first one was better than the second, imo, but both are pretty good.

Shakey Head Jig
I've had good luck with the Gambler Giggy Head... http://www.basspro.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/Product_10151_-1_10001_102862____SearchResults The worm holder is a bit of a pain, but I just use the hook point to make a "pilot hole" in the head of the worm before I rig it. This solves the problem for me and I've never had a worm come off the holder.

Inexpensive solution for crankin rod.
It ought to work fine. You may want to check your local Walmart for the Ugly Stick Lite Pro, which has better guides than the "standard" Lite.

Daiwa ProCaster, mini review
That's probably the best deal you're going to find on a brand new, aluminum-framed baitcaster.

New LCD TV screen cracked
See if you can track down a part #. They sell replacement screens for mp3 player and cell phones on Ebay, maybe they sell the larger screens on there as well.

Need a GPS system for wifes car
Many tomtom units update for free. I wish that was the case with mine. I'm about 12 months behind on updates, so it's $40 to download the most current maps and another $40 for quarterly updates over the next year, and they won't sell me the packages seperately. > It'll cost me $80 to get it up to date or I can replace the unit with a newer model for a little more and get a free update.

Rod and Reel Choices, 1/16oz and up
They're routinely available on that big auction site for about $105 shipped, with the "standard" Supreme being about $20 cheaper.

I think this is what i want for Crhistmas!
Love the video. That kinda crap would probably get you shot and/or arrested here in the US. ;D ;D

Need a GPS system for wifes car
I have a TomTom One that works fairly well, but I don't think I'd recommend it unless you plan on replacing it every 12 to 18 months. The cost to update the maps beyond that is roughly the same as a new unit.

Shimano Crucial Users
I had the 6'6" MF model and it was very sensitive but underpowered, imo. I believe it was rated for 1/8-3/8 oz, and was noticeably underpowered for anything heavier than a 7" Power Worm, 3/0 EWG, and an 1/8 oz bullet weight.
