  1. The only problem with the Trout stocking thing is that neither Clearlake or the Delta, arguably 2 of the top 10 fisheries in the world are not stocked with trout.
  2. Great job!
  3. Alton Jones says it's going to take triple digits to win. Who do you guys like to win this one? I think Steve Kenedy could do well and there is always KVD.
  4. Great job! Those are some nice fish!
  5. Welcome!
  6. If you look at a list of the top 25 Largemouth ever caught, which state did most of them come from? Which lake holds the BASS record for most weight?
  7. End of April - early May would be a great time to fish Clearlake and the Delta. Big fish and numbers.
  8. Marty Robins is a good one also.
  9. My girl decided after hearing about the trip with dad yesterday that she wanted to go this morning. So we went back down to the Delta and fished til noon then dropped her off at the dock to go shoppping and finished up the day with dad. Water temp was 60-62 today and it was brezzy. Fished rising and high tide most of the day. Ended up with 26 in the Tracker. Mostly 2 to 2.5# and dad caught one on a dropshot that went 5.1. Most of the fish were small fat females so I'm thinking the big girls should be up soon.
  10. There are some shows that are always going to be best B&W. The Honey Mooners and such. I even prefer the classic westerns in B&W.
  11. Got to get out for a few hours with my dad today to fish the Delta. Water temp was between 58-60 and was suprisingly pretty clear. We got a little rain and the wind kicked up some but we were able to put 19 in the Tracker on Rat L Traps and Red Eye Shad. Nothing big all about 2 - 2.5#.
  12. Good luck to you bassn-man.
  13. Good for him. It's nice to hear that there are still some folks who stand up for themselves.
  14. What these protesters don't understand is that it is this families sacrafice as well as the sacrifces and service of others that gives them the right to protest. Let them try that crap in China and see what happens. God bless and all of you that have served and sacraficed for our country.
  15. The new fish would make a great avatar. Again. Awesome fish!

Great post P_Rock. That was pretty intense.
  17. Probably a YUM Dinger. It can be rigged and fished enough different ways to make it versitile.
  18. Great job. Another weapon in the arsenal.
  19. Mismanagement seems to be running rampant out here as of late. We had the fish masacure in the Delta a few months ago when the government tried pumping a flooded island. We have the constant fiasco with Northern Pike at Lake Davis. The useless closure of lakes in Southern California and now this mess on the Green River. I don't know if it's the poloticians or the idiots that they appoint to these fish and game commissions and other boards. Something has to be done. > >
  20. I understand the temperature trend. When you talk about the downwind bite Paul do you apply the same theory to rivers or do you feel that the current is more important in that instance?
  21. I think it depends also on the type of tournament you are fishing. I would understand swinging for the fences more if it were a TOC or single tournament.
  22. We have one here in Rocklin. They carry a pretty nice selection of stuff and their prices seem resonable.
  23. Happy Birthday. Hope you can get out soon.
  24. Keep your head up brother the fish will come!
