  1. Great job, my first bass was about 3#, that was many decades ago
  2. I've always had good success with Zoom Fat Alberts twin tails, especially swimming
  3. Congrats, while senko produces a lot of dinks they also a nab the big ones.
  4. Well life is tough, sometimes.
  5. X2 and I'm a big C&R guy. Haven't keep a bass in decades, but for a state record I would begrudge anyone.
  6. I have a hard time going on weekend let along a holiday. I stay clear of the public.
  7. All I can tell you is my own experience. I was fishing tubes, with good success one day. Changed over to SK coffee tubes and immediately noticed more gut hooks. I modified my techique to try to prevent it, but something about that tube made the bass want to hang on and shallow. It could have been another reason been I imagine it was the coffee scent.
  8. Weight difference 58# vs. 38# Also I heard that you can deep discharge a AGM battery with less damage then a regular deep cell.
  9. I have a light weight pond boat and a small pontoon boat. I use a size 27 battery and at the end of most days it reads 60-70% still left, according to my battery meter. I am thinking of trying a size 22 AGM battery because of the lighter weight. My question is will the 22 series be addiquit?
  10. There's nothing like a frog bite

  16. Very true, I was just hoping for a year like last year. We never really had an off day with frog from mid-July thru the first part of Oct. I spoiled me.
  17. Been doing real well on the hollowbodies again this year. Yesterday, fishing under cloudy skies and no wind, on gin clear water, I never had a hit after working it on and off for many hours. Guess you gatta get while the gettins good and enjoy it while it lasts.
