  6. Hi Vis braid may be detected by the bass easier than a darker line that's made by a sharpie.

I use spros most of the time, but the pad crasher seems to work fine so far and it's less $$$$$$
  8. Great Job on the pb, now go do it again.
  9. Re-tie often, less with braid more with nan-o-fil
  10. Sorry on the pics, not equipt. Each day may be a little different. We were pretty much walkin the dog, though there were times they crushed it on the stall. We even had hits when we were reeling the water logged frog in fast under the surface. Many took it deep. They just wanted that frog that day.
  11. We started out fishing a favorite pond on a cloudless day and 104 degree temperture and no wind. Very few bass jumping which is usually a negative sign for good topwater action. The big ones were active, the two of us caught about 40 each. The largest about 8# and many in the 2 to 4 pound range. We had some of the geatest explosions I've ever seen. Like a kid slamming a 20 pound rock into the water, unbelievable. It was one of those days when we might have caught well over a hundred each on senkos, but honestly we wouldn't have had near the fun. Spros and Booyah popper type frogs. What a day.
  12. Congrats- caught many of my pb's on a jig, great fun
  13. Depending on the aggression of the bass it could differ from day to day. You probably just need to try it out and see. Some of my biggest bass have been in clearer waters with straight braid, but at times you may need all the stealth you can get.
  14. Don't know much about schooling bass, most of the time the bass school me.
  15. Very versatile rod. I use mine for both light flipping and froggin
  16. weightless, 5/0 hook, swim it right under the surface most of the time.
  17. Our Dick's here is doing the same
  18. Best spots 60-90 minutes
  19. Rootbeer Pep/Grn Love the grubs and the twin tails.
  20. Good job, go do it again!!!!!
  21. Congrats on a nice fish. I C/R all my PB's and appreciate those that do the same. I really can admire someone who catches a record and returns it safe after weighting it.
