But the bass you caught in that picture was caught on a rat l trap so ur a jig newbie imo

The jig is my new favorite lure after catching a 6 pounder on it

So i went out to lake pan with my friend and a good rain storm happened the night before so we decided to geive it a try. I really have never had any luck with the jig but with a little practice i got it down and hooked onto a beast. I saw this fish swimin in the water on the bed and draged the jig through its bed. The Scale read 6 lbs and i went crazy since my biggest fish before that was only 3 lbs tops. My freind went on to catch a 5 pounder and and a 5 and a half pounder. It was an awesome day in the rain.

just ordered me an array of different colors and sizes of this jig cant wait to use it

What do you all think about the evolution jig, have any of you all used it before? also im going to bps soon and im looking for some jigs to buy i have heard the jewel bait and bitsy bug are good any other good ones, but i know it has to do with personal prefernce to

So i borrow my friends canoe when i go out to fish on his lake in his neighboorhood, but i recently found out it has developed a crack in it because when we are paddling alond eventually we have to dump out water out of it which is such a pain. So how would i go about fixing this crack, it is made of fiberglass, so should i use some fiberglass to cover the hole back or what ? I want to make sure it doesnt leak anymore because i want to be focused on fishing not on whether or not im going to sink

what do you guys think about this bait? good,successful? what colors do u use with it usually? I know i have one whte/clearish one and one watermelon seed that were given to me, but never used them and wanted to give them a shot How do you usually bring it in?

Yea i would definitly fish that pond because when my freind found a pond practically in in his backyard and was hesitant to fish there not noing the results we made him go and try it and what do u know he caught his PB the second or third time he went, but he hasnt caught many fish in there but he still gave it a shot and got some results. And what do yall think about moving bass from an over populated lake to a pond like that would there be consequences or would it be fine, because i think it would be kind of cool to help that pond get some more fish in it to fish for.

So i really have never tried to use a jig more than once geting discouraged because i never really got any success but i have been reading and i see that it takes a lot of practice become good with a jig, and it is a very versatile lure which can produce big bass, so I have decided to get to know this lure better, so i have a few questions for you guys out there that have some knowledge about jigs First off what color do u suggest for clear and murky water? -right now i own black/blue, white, and orange and brown What do u feel are the best trailers to use for jigs, and should the color of the trailer be the same as the jig or very different? What weight jigs do u use most often? Where do you like to fish these lures? rocky shores, trees, grassy area etc How do u like(best way) to present jigs? Thanks guys im still trying to learn everything i can about fishing so whatever you say will be appreciated

Ok so i have bass been fishing for a little while now but just off an on because i have a busy scehdule and not many ponds or lakes around me..untill now which i am exicted about, but i have some questions about it. And i think the bass just spawned because my friend caught a some monsters and they were leaking eggs. Our temperature here is around 65 usually at the moment and warming up. When do u know to switch to different lures throughout the day are there time periods in which some things work beter than others like something for morning or late afternoon It has stained water so what color lures would work best..im guessing firetiger but any others would be appreciated I really cant use any deep diving crankbaits because of so much algae on the bottom the lure just diggs right into it and comes to the surface, so what type of lures do u suggest for finding the fish (rat l traps) or something else? The best fishing is off the docks and rocky shores at this place and worms worked ok, color suggestiongs for worms right now and length When would u suggest to use a spiner or a buzzbait here? And whats some of the best things for bass fishing post spawn in murky stained water from your experenices and also are there anything specifically i should be looking for to find the bass in this new place Any help would be much appreciated guys Hopefully with your guys help i can catch some beast like my freind
