  1. I have no problem fishing with women. Thats one of the great parts about fishing, a woman can beat a man that has greater physical strength.... As for posting, keep posting over here Im sure you have great thoughts and ideas..
  2. Wow, thats pretty intense!
  3. lol.... Imho, they're no more than skilled workers, much like carpenters or tailors. X2.. Blue collar workers deal with every type of weather, and the same back pain you get from standing on bass boat all day fishing you get as a blue collar worker. Casting over and over again could be compared to a carpenter hammering nail after nail.
  4. I have read many articles referencing the Elites as athletes. I have also heard Elites say they are athletes. I love competing in bass tournaments and love watching the Elites compete, but I would not call them athletes in any sense of the word. Is it just because they competing that they are called athletes or are they doing something that is athletic that I am not aware of? I understand that these guys can kill a fly off the wall with a cast, but aside from that what makes them athletic? Why are they called athletes? It kinda of bothers me.
  5. "I'd never named a bait before, but there was only one I could think of... The most beautiful name in the whole wide world. Jenn-ney Bubba Gump shrimp..... Its a household name.
  6. Tru- tungston frogs have 2rattles scotch-tapped onto the hook inside the body of the frog. It blocks ya from getting a good hooks set.
  7. Pacino is good.... Other actors... Tom Hanks

No "dislike" button would be needed. Youtube has it but its not needed..

No isn't made to replace anything. Example... Someone posted, "Why does everyone buy the lures that win the classic?" There was a reply with, "People are always looking for the silver bullet - that magic bait that's going to catch a ton of fish for them. Funny though, when a bait does come along that seems to fit the bill (aka the Senko), many people dismiss it as being "too easy", or that it takes no talent to use, a "crutch", etc. Can't win no matter what." If there was a like button on this post I would click it.

    HAHA! ;D
  11. I just read a post by someone that I liked and looked for the "Like" button. I watch fishing videos on youtube and the ones that I like, I click the "Like" button. Or Facebook when someone comes up with some good quote and you don't need to write anything but you think it needs a little bit of gratitude. "Like" button... Instead of copying and pasting the quote and X2, "Like" button. Or one of the many informative articles on this site that would get lit up with "Like" buttons if there was an option..I don't know if it is possible to add to this great website but I "Like" the idea...
  12. Im a righty... But for example.. If I am trolling north and have a weed line to the west of me I cast lefty so there is no switch. If I turn the boat around and head south I would be casting righty with a switch..I played lacrosse and have been trained to always keep my stick to the outside. Kinda weird.. If I am flipping I am using a lefty reel.
  13. Nice read, nice fish! Could just be Bass are Green and its better Camouflage.... Either way you found em.
  14. Lucky scoundrels I wish I could have fished on a team in college. Enjoy it, Im sure you will..
  15. Consumers are the real fish.. I have been looking online to add to my collection and I am amazed at how life like these lures are becoming. Koppers, Spro, Jackell to name a few have gotten their lures looking like mirror images of prey. I actually thought long and hard about paying $20.00 for one lure. In the end I didn't bite.. A bass is a bass. A lure is a lure and the consumer is a sucker... O yeah and Vandam is from another planet.....
  16. I got held at gun point in Florida during a lacrosse tournament while I was at University. We were staying at a hotel in Orlando. It doesn't matter if its a fishing tourney or on a vacation with the family. People need to realize that just because you are on vacation the thieves are not.. You are most vulnerable when you are not expecting it.. You come into someones town and they are watching.. It sucks but be aware.. With all these guys saying fisherman are packing, it will only be a matter of time until bullets fly.. I hope this doesn't happen but at this rate is seems inevitable.
  17. If you could change one thing about your career what would it be?
  18. Coming from a co-angler... From B.A.S.S opens to my FED trail, and club. I have fished with Elites and the average Joe.. I always offer $40 and ask if this is enough. I have had guys say, "yes" and take all of it and guys say, "thats to much." Guys give me change and guys say, "thats not necessary." Some guys have taken the full amount and we fished a hundred yards from the launch and guys take a 45min ride take half... When I link with a boater and pre-fish tourneys I split half the expenses with hotel, truck gas and boat gas. I do not buy food for a boater during tourneys. If I am going with a buddy for fun then thats a different story.
  19. Good for you!!!! Thats exciting!
  20. Co-anglers beware.. I was fishing as a co-angler on the St. Lawrence river and my boater hit wave from one of the ocean liners that frequent that river. I thought I was dead.. We got major air and when we landed my whole body slammed on the seat.. Felt like I was piled-drived. Only to hit the next roller after it. I swear the boat cracked in half...Worst experience fishing to date... Speed kills.
  21. With a Senko less is more... Cast it out and do nothing. Its good for a co-angler on the back of the boat that needs to slow it down.. Not an easy thing to do for someone that likes to chuck and wind...
  22. I was not aware of that. Im in NY and I am in a club but I am pretty sure you do not have to be in a club here to fish the Fed trail..
  23. Gander Mtn makes a Fluke that falls pretty quick and is pretty heavy so you can cast it a ways..
