Last weekend I got one to eat a frog in our area BassinBoy. I think it was just stupid though lol

lol its ok. I'm still going to midatlantic divisionals, I'm hoping to qualify for the state classic through the State team tournament anyway. It's just fishing though, everyday is a new day Had an awesome time at Mr BASS though, we were on the potomac and I must have caught 80 fish total that weekend lol. Most of them were about a 1/2 inch under that 15 inch limit line lol. Frustrating but atleast I caught fish, some guys didnt catch any at all.

It's 100% not a carp, trust me. Besides, we only have common carp and the odd koi in the lake I fish. I think it's some kind of weird chub. If you find out what it is, let me know. Carp have barbels at the mouth (the fish in the pic didn't) and their backfin is different. Yeah I can't say i'm positive it isnt but I have to say its really unlikely that the fish you caught is a carp. I was looking at pics last night and the fins on the carp are alot different than the fish you caught. You win that one, I believe you owe me an "I told you so" lol

If you grab some of the rubber bands for braces they work well for octopus style hooks and making them weedless! My buddy figured that out! And although they're not senkos I think the brand is actually wacky worms, they hold together really well. I bought some at the 2005 bassmaster classic in pittsburgh and I still have the same bag of fifty

idk to me it looks like a carp. Not the same species as the common carp, it might be a subspecies or something like that. I might have to look it up lol, I'm interested now

Thats a carp too. They eat crustaceans and such so they'll hit crankbaits and spinnerbaits sometimes too.

I only got 44th place out of 98 :'( Oh well, I couldnt really compete with the winning wieght of 37 lbs since it was the second time I've ever been there w.o prefishing lol

lately i been catching fish on wacky worms and senkos around weeds. I caught some on a swimbait this year so far, I havent thrown it much. and shakey heads around beds. Smallmouth I always fish with a little jerkbait and a little sammie tied on. I have also caught a few fish on creature baits

Yeah i'm positive it was a goldfish. I have a goldfish pond in my backyard with a couple different kinds along with some bluegill. Tip: never put rockbass in a goldfish pond those things are vicious lol. The goldfish I caught on the potomac was one of the feeder fish you can buy at pet stores for 5 or 10 cents. I'll put a pic up this weekend
