I just bought some of these from *** and wondered how to use them. Thanks JT and Kent, I will give these a try worked and rigged like you described.

Sometimes we just love our dogs, I lost two of my cockers a year and half ago to the tainted dog food. It was the last posted as being tainted. 5K later both were put down. We since adopted a female coker 7 years old. She is the sweetest thing,. You just can not replace this type of love.

In case folks did not realize this lake is in Ludinington MI. We did get out the the surface temp was 73-78 degrees. Averaged about 25 bass a day. Bite was tough but we kept at it. All bass were caught on Topwater or Jig and Craw Papi.

I was taught this by a Guide on Lake Guerruro In Mexico last year. These bass would hit a Texas Rig hard and would just swallow so we gut hooked a lot with a 5/0 hook. I was just cutting off so he laughed and showed us how to save hooks. It works!

The brakes on my Quantums make a whirling type noise when they engage. Maybe this is what you are describing? I notice that Quantum brakes are noisier than most.

Tungsten, I found it improved my sensitivity and has aloowed me to feel the bottom. It also improved my hook-up ratio as I felt bites which I normally would not feel.

I have a domestic 7:1 gear ratio I use for T-Rigs. Does great keeping the bass out of the junk at hook-up.

Will be heading there this weekend and was wondering how the bass fishing has been? Also was wondering what the surface temps and water clarity is like. North Bayou report stated mid sixties but I find that hard to believe.
