if they were golden wings - those are old models.I have two of them I bought from bass pros many years back & Im still using them.Good rods.

thanks for that , I was just curious because i have never compared it to any other glass rods.Ive always used fenwicks ,only rods ive ever had.

Micro- just wondering if you have tried your elite tech yet & if you have,what you think of it?I got one and have only used it a couple of times & I still dont know what to think of it.I have always just used medium graphite rods for the little cranking I have done in the past.This rod is pretty whippy in my opinion but maybe thats how they are supposed to be.I got it hoping I could use it for jerk baits also, but I think its much to flimsy for that.

x2 on the fenwicks.Been using them for 20 yrs.Great rods!

basser89 - THE VANISH is easily the most horrible line I have ever bought.I found that it got very weak within a couple of outings of use.I couldnt get it offf my reels quick enough.I tried the new 100% trilene in march and the same stuff is still on my reels-and I fish almost every day.I would highly recomend trying it before you give up on fluoro.

kind of surpised to hear that.I use the 12lb trilene and love it.I did think I was losing a little distance though so maybe it wasnt just me.

Used the rage trailers on the jig and they worked great.Only problem was i went through a bag in one day. Only got one fish out of some of them.Seem to tear easy,maybe it was the bag.

well what did you find out? im not sure ,but it sounds like your describing the ponds that i fish so i am a little worried.

nice fish!theres alot of big fish in ma.i know of a 10 lber caught on the cape.

i got one bag of the rage jig trailers and they work awesome.my question is how long do you guys get out of one bait because i was only getting one fish out of some of them and went through a whole bag in one full day. just wondering if it was the bag or do they rip apart fairly easily?

never used scents before,wasnt convinced they mattered all that much.But i was at bass pro shops and picked some lunker sauce for the hell of it.anyone else tried this stuff because i have used it all spring off & on and havent noticed any difference at all.

This threads getting old.He got the show from writing & hounding nesn from what i was told.He has a good humor and has fun.But being any kind of a good fisherman-. i dont know about that. its more like a comedy show.He is doing well with it,wish it was me.

i have the best luck with the gamblers by far. put away the chatter baits & pure poisons i have. i think the gamblers by far have more eratic action.

just orded the 6'6" medium fenwick elite tech crankshaft last week. do you think its to soft for a jerk bait ? havent got it yet but i am a little worried after reading previous post
