Just gonna do some venting.
There are a whole bunch of stupid rules in every sport, that just happens to be one of them. I bet CJ wont do that ever again. Lesson learned.

Continued success with jigs in NoVA
If you've got the patience to stay with the jig it WILL pay off at some point during the day. Good fish man!

Jig Storage
I had the same problem at one time. So many head styles, colors and sizes and having approximately 300+ jigs, I had to do something. First, I seperated all the head styles into different piles,(football, grass, flippin etc...) then I seperated the piles by size (1/4, 3/8 etc...). Then I went to eBay and bought a bunch of 2" x 3" clear ziploc bags really cheap in bulk. I put every jig in its own little bag, sealed it up and wrote the weight and head style across the top with a fine tip Sharpie marker. I then bought 3 or 4 different boxes (will have to look up the exact #) but they are deep boxes, not just the regular 3600 or 3700 shallow depth. The bags stand up in the box and with the info written across the top of each bag, it kinda looks like a little file cabinet. ;D Just skim across the tops, read what it says and grab one out. It works out real well. The bags seem to keep the jigs free from condensation and rust and when I get one out to use, it looks just like it did when I took it out of the original package, not all mangled up and stuck together. The 2" x 3" bags are almost too small for some jigs but I make them work. Some people may want to buy just a little bit bigger bag, maybe 3" x 3" or 3" x 4".

Line Testing Results
RW, you should try Sunline Super Sniper FC on your spinning reels if you're searching for a really good fluorocarbon line. It's pricey, but in this case, you get what you pay for. The Berkley 100% in my opinion is great line (especially on baitcasters) and is nothing like Berkley Vanish. Not even a little bit. I pull brushpiles off the bottom and up to the boat with 8# Berkley 100%. With some other carbon lines doing something like that will cause the knot to slip if it doesnt break first.

2010 NFL predictions
Uhhhh....no they're not As for Glenn....he's an old school Raider hater. The Raiders used to pound the Seahacks twice a year. I can see where all the hate comes from and it's well deserved. The Raiders pounded on them so much that they had to get out of the division. Well, come to think of it, the Raiders ran the Seahacks clear out of the AFC. ;D

Another Cheater Caught.
Years ago i was fishing a tournament on Rayburn in the back of Harvey creek. Came up on a boat with two guys, they saw the ribbon on my boat and immediately offered me a 5+ for a 100.00. I took down their boat number and when i got in i turned it over to the game warden. No idea if they even followed up on it. I doubt seriously they followed up. No proof. Your word against theirs.

What does Crankbait really imitate?
BK, you sound just like a pro angler giving the generic answer. I notice you replied the same exact thing in another thread. That phrase is like fingernails on a chalkboard to me. Are you messing with me man? ;D

New Triton 19 Explorer with a 200 Merc Optimax- CHINE WALK QUESTON
I will give a few quick jerks to the left until it levels out. Not enough to make the boat make a left turn or anything, just hard and fast enough to get the chine walk to fade away.

Any of you tackle makers make something like this?
Allen, if you want to modify that minnow head mold and sell it, I may buy it. I guess it depends on # of cavities and weight sizes.

Any of you tackle makers make something like this?
You go right ahead then. I will too until I find a cheaper alternative. Not true. A 5 or 6 dollar spinnerbait has a hook that will last a long time. The hooks on the fish head spins dont hold up over time. Plus, a spinnerbait is almost impossible to get hung up....these hang up on anything and everything. Thanks for the info cadman

I love these things but $4 a pop is a little ridiculous. Does anybody here do these or know where I can find a mold to pour them myself?
