I have only had one encounter in over 25 years of fishing.

I would much rather catch a hog. How often do you look at the pictures of fish you catch?

The only thing that thing would be good for is to chill a watermelon on a hot day to eat. MMMMM... cold watermelon.

Nice fish and sweet frogs. It blows my mind how big that perch is. I used to catch a bunch of perch in my old neighborhood and was always amazed how hard they pull and they were only 10-12 inches at most. I bet that one but up an awesome fight.

Great fish. That 4th picture is AMAZING.

There is a pay lake called cooper's pond in loxley off 64. I have not fished it but it looks great. I do not know of any other spots to fish except for a few private spots that I have to get permission to go to. I heard that Bass Pro will open on one of two dates, 8/4 or 8/15. I CANNOT WAIT FOR IT TO OPEN. Maybe we could hit up Big creek lake in the future

Here we go again : Trixo69--I have been having good luck with strike king's sexy shad. If you use worms, watermelon is my favorite to use, senko or Mag II. I am heading near your area tomorrow to fish the beautiful Alabama, coosa, and talapoosa rivers. OH YEAH!!!!

Big creek lake is the only place that I can think of in your area. I have not fished it but would like to go. Do you have a boat? I have not heard great things about bass in the delta, mostly dinks. You may want to look at google maps for some ponds.

I am DEAD serious. I looking at fishing as more than just catching. I look at the total experience. If the day comes that I can not find any joy of seeing a sunrise, being in the beautiful outdoors, seeing dozens of animals, spending time with my family and/or friends, and catching my little scalely friends, I think that I have lost most of what life has to offer and there is little else.

Letting your Dad catch the biggest fish was the right thing to do I went fishing with my Dad today to and it was awesome. I can think of very few things I would rather do.
