I hate turtles so much > I live near the gulf and when fishing for reds and trout in brackish water we have hooked alligator snapping turtles that are well over 100 lbs.

I would like to know why it is so much better as well. I have both loaded on a computer and I do not notice any difference in download time, which I have checked online. Maybe I am missing something.

As a lefty, this is something that always confuses me about other anglers. Since I am left hand dominant I cast with my left and reel with my right with baitcasters and spinning reels. But I see rightys with a spinning reel handle on one side(L) and their baitcaster on the other®. When asked they say it is more comfortable, but why switch hands with the baitcaster and not the spinning reel. It seems to me that it would be easier for rightys to use a baitcaster with a handle on the left.

This is the only line I use and I have had no problems with it to date. I use it for trout and redfish as well in the bays and river. It casts great and is cheap enough to change when neccesary.

What a great fish, congratulations!!!! That fish looks a lot bigger than 7-4. I have seen digital scales that are off by more than a pound. Do you have something that you can weigh that you are certain of the weight? Maybe a gallon of water.

During the summer months, I catch about 8 at the pond in a couple of hours and at the river I usually catch 4 fish between 5:30 and 11:00.

Find some pompano jigs that look like small bucktails, the more colorful jigs with strips of mylar work well.

What did you catch?

I did not have any bites on them. Try some spoons or white/red bucktails tipped with shrimp . We saw tarpon all over the place so you may want to get some live crabs. Let us know how you do.
