My uncle has a phleuger president that he likes very much and fishes with 3-4 times per week. Personally, I do not have any experience with this brand. If you are thinking about a garcia I love my SX and STX.

We have hooked alligator snapping turtles on accident that were WELL over 100 pounds while fishing for trout and reds. Maybe it is all in my head, but I never do as well when there are a lot of turtles in the spot I am fishing.

great fish guys!!! I'm a pond hopper too.... found a new one today that was less than 1 acre and I was very shocked by the number of decent bass I caught.

I fish the same type of area between lake jordan dam and the alabama river. We have had good luck on t-rig ol monsters, mag IIs, and medium cranks. Go get them spots 8-)

Carry on what you can and ship what you cannot... My Dad has worked at airports for many years and I can assure you that the bag smashers could care less if you luggage arrives in one piece if at all. There is little oversight in this area and no incentive for the bag smashers to care. BEWARE OF THE SULTANS OF SAMSONITE ;D

Look for two tooth patches on the roof of the mouth. Also, a spotted bass' jawline does not extend past the eye like a largemouth's jaw.

I like BANG in the shad and craw combo scent. I like to spray this stuff in the worm bag and let them marinade 8-) If the bite is strong, the worm will probally be destroyed before the attractant needs to be reapplied.
