Go with your natural colors. Browns and greens. I mostly throw browns like PBJ in clear water. 5/16-3/8.

I trim the skirt about 1/4-1/2" behind the hook. I'm going to try some mop jigs this year I made so I wont trim those. I dont trim weedguards.

Pic aint great but from the look of it I would shoot it too. At the cost of that type of ammo I would call the manufacturer.
