glueing weedgaurds
On your epoxying the weedguards. I assume you are using D2T. How do you keep your weedguards from leaning to one side? I do not use a full weeedguard any thoughts? I'm using a marine epoxy. Holds great. I've never noticed weed guards leaning unless like your instance of not using the whole guard. I'd look at cuting fibers off the gaurd instead of pulling them off that way you get a full seal.

Keeping her interested
Good idea. She does help me make lures sometimes so I will let her make her own with my help. That way hopefully it will be even more fun for her when she catches a fish. 8-)

LC Pointers
I was going to say the same, but... I've never used one. So.... can someone describe the action compared to other JBs? One of the main features is its ability to be cast long distances. A x rap does the same. If you ever have fished a rogue the weight systems are different and a rogue casts like crap especially into the wind. That is why I dont fish rogues much anymore. They are too light and do not cast like a weight integrated bait. The other good feature is it actually gets close to suspending. Rogues for ex. you have to buy 2-3 to get one close to suspending. That puts the price about the same as 1 lc or more then 1 x rap. Colors: One for cloudy days and one for sunny days.

Nice 45 Springfield FL. I've got the champion 4" in that version. Not quite as fancy but still a shooter.

I'm going to go with coffin style bills. I'm working on those right now. One mid diver and one deeper diver.

Best bottom pour furnace?
If it was me I'd stick with the lee. I pour jigs and its works great. I'm not sure how it would work with spinnerbaits and such.

carry firearms while fishing?

More finished cranks

Best bottom pour furnace?
RCBS makes one or did that was super fancy but I use a lee pro v 20 bottom pour. Something like that. I pour up to 1.5oz fine.

carry firearms while fishing?
This is a great post imo. With the bad economy we should all be a little extra careful on what we leave in our boat and where we leave it. I'll still be packin. 8-)
