  1. On your epoxying the weedguards. I assume you are using D2T. How do you keep your weedguards from leaning to one side? I do not use a full weeedguard any thoughts? I'm using a marine epoxy. Holds great. I've never noticed weed guards leaning unless like your instance of not using the whole guard. I'd look at cuting fibers off the gaurd instead of pulling them off that way you get a full seal.
  2. very cool, I really like that bottom left one.
  3. Good idea. She does help me make lures sometimes so I will let her make her own with my help. That way hopefully it will be even more fun for her when she catches a fish. 8-)
  4. Thanks FCG. Very good info. Thanks all. This helps me out alot. I cant wait until it warms up. 8-)
  5. I've got optima's in mine but I havent used them enough to know if they are worth it. I agree with Jigman.
  6. clear water= Green pumpkin variants. Stained=Green pumpkin variants. Muddy=Green pumpkin variants. 8-)
  7. I was going to say the same, but... I've never used one. So.... can someone describe the action compared to other JBs? One of the main features is its ability to be cast long distances. A x rap does the same. If you ever have fished a rogue the weight systems are different and a rogue casts like crap especially into the wind. That is why I dont fish rogues much anymore. They are too light and do not cast like a weight integrated bait. The other good feature is it actually gets close to suspending. Rogues for ex. you have to buy 2-3 to get one close to suspending. That puts the price about the same as 1 lc or more then 1 x rap. Colors: One for cloudy days and one for sunny days.
  8. how could you not bottom out going up that?
  9. wow those are really cool!!!!!!!!
  10. to many more. Nice catchin
  11. Nice 45 Springfield FL. I've got the champion 4" in that version. Not quite as fancy but still a shooter.
  12. Nice baits again Big M. Hopefully mine will be 1/2 as good.
  13. I'm going to go with coffin style bills. I'm working on those right now. One mid diver and one deeper diver.
  14. I've been working on these for about a week, and learning how to carve cranks. What do you guys think?
  15. If it was me I'd stick with the lee. I pour jigs and its works great. I'm not sure how it would work with spinnerbaits and such.
  16. It can happen even at private lakes an ramps.
  17. very cool Big M
  18. RCBS makes one or did that was super fancy but I use a lee pro v 20 bottom pour. Something like that. I pour up to 1.5oz fine.
  19. This is a great post imo. With the bad economy we should all be a little extra careful on what we leave in our boat and where we leave it. I'll still be packin. 8-)
  20. Next year I hope its someone under 35 and not a kids pop singer.
  21. Well, we are off to a good start. Saturday she told me not to let her forget to get a fishing license. I had no part of that one either. 8-)
