  1. The crankbait bite and topwater bite have slowed for me here in Fl lately, but we have a lot of success on Rapala jointed shad raps, rapala DT's, Spooks, and Torpedos to name a few....
  2. Bronzeye Popper Frog works well and also the Snagproof Bass Kicker Frog. It weighs 3/4oz and handles moss very well without getting gunked up.
  3. I picked up some of the Flambeau blocks from the Boater's World going out of business sale last week. Says they are good for 3 years.

  7. interesting......i have been bass fishing in south florida for a few years now and a lizard is one of the few things i have never caught one on.
  8. I saw a guy fishing one from the bank yesterday, it is very similar to the Sebille....sinks very very slowly, a little bit wider wobble than the Sebille.....I don't think there is enough difference to justify buying one of each..
  9. My fishing partner have developed a number of terms while fishing over the years. I am sure many of you have many as well. Pressure Strike: When a bass gently grabs your bait without a jerking or tapping sensation: often confused with a stick hit and a scum hit. ISP: Isolated scum patch; generally lurking below the surface waiting to slime one's crankbait. Hipster: The one a__hole that lives near each fishery with nothing better to do than nose into other peoples business and keep watch for anything out of the ordinary; Characterized by:The propencity to stand with hands on hips, equipped with binoculars, mobile phone with 911 on speed dial. A nagging wife may be nearby. Catfish Shake: Hook extraction method used on undesirable fish of several species--catfish,gar,tilapia--or when pliers are not within reach. Simply grab the hook and shake violently until the fish falls off or the hook breaks. Twitchin Like a Crack addict: Violently twitchin a plastic worm to trigger a bass strike. Dink: Bass less than 14 inches long. Broken Neck: When the guide tube on the inside of a screw-in weight breaks. Also the action one would like to take on the CEO of the weight company each time this occurs. Haulin Water: Casting several thousand times without getting a bite or fish to the boat. One Fish Mode:Phase occuring after fisherman has exhausted all means for possible catching a fish or near the end of the day when the fisherman seeks one last fish to end the trip properly. Jiz: Megastrike Fish Attractant--no disrespect Bobby, just what we call it.

  12. Mark J replied to Shane J's topic in Fishing Tackle
My old lady gave me grief about the frequent tackle shipments I was receiving. I tossed a Powerbait worm under the seat of her car one hot day---haven't heard a word since.

  16. I went to the new website and was going to place my order, but it doesn't say anything about the new formula. The package and everything looks the same on the website. Just want to make sure I get the new stuff before I place my order. Have 2 tubes of the current formula already.
  17. I just received one today, was wondering if anyone had tried it out yet; had any success with it. It looks pretty cool can't wait to try it.
  18. I used to order and drive to BPS all the time and Bassbuckandduck as well. Now I order 90% from TW for the best selection.
