  1. I'm not familiar with the lakes you noted, but this time of year in the NJ lakes I do fish - I stick with suspending jerkbaits (worked slowely with long pauses), and go small on plastics with 3 grubs and 4 straight worms on 1/8 oz jigheads (and I only use dark natural colors this time of the year with plastics, like pumpkinseed, watermelon, smoke and black), again worked slowely. Hey Zel what about any hard baits? Like a shallow diving crank ?
  2. What about w T riged or weedless jig. Maybe even a fluke or spinner bait. Is this in old brige NJ
  3. Well I have a small Jon boat with a 3hp motor and trolling I get around just fine.
  4. Yea dude I agree they sent me a email and told me that each lake even state owned are allowed to charge you what ever they want. Even if you buy a lauch permit or license
  5. Hey guys on page # 29 in the NJ fish and wildlife 2009 issues there is new regs for launching a vessel into a lake. They want you to tape a copy of you fishing license or a receipt of the licenseon your vehicle. If you don't fish the fee is $15 a year to launch for boaters. I emailed them to ask some questions and let them know my concerns. My biggest concern is why do I need to pay to launch at some lakes and others I don't. What is going to happen when people pay the $15 for a permit but then get to a lake and have to pay another $6 every launch? Out here Round Valley launch is free if you have valid fishing license but Spruce Run is like $6 after 8am with or without the license. Whats up with that? Any how just want to keep you guys informed of NJ regs. Safe boating and happy fishing John
  6. Hey I am trying to get out to Spruce Run tomorrow or the next day. The weather has been a little rough. I am new to boating so want to be safe. I will keep you guys up dated.
  7. Great boat and the motor looks like it just came out the package. Looks very stabile too. Enjoy Bro
  8. Hold on I'm a little mixed up. Are you asking if the bedliner or the epoxy comes in spray cans? Bedliner yes, epoxy no. go to fascosepoxies.com and look up super slick 2000. I think they have another one that is cheaper then that though. This will look great and permanatly seal it. Before you start talk to Gerry there. He tell you what you need to do for prep and care. WHAT EVERY YOU DO DON'T MIX MORE THEN THE 2 SMALL CONTAINERS AT A TIME! I mixed it all up at once. By the time I finished the first coat the epoxy was setting up in the can.. So I messed up the coat in some areas.
  9. Are you talking about using the liner on the outside hull of the baot as a sealer? If you are I wouldn't do it. I would use what I did fascos eoxies. That is a more permanent fix. Plus it looks alot nicer. Also reduces friction for speed and safer launches.
  10. Here is the thread with most the issues and work I haad to do to my boat. Look over it you might get some good info I know I did. http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1223478703/75
  11. OK step 1 I cleanen the inside with soap and water step 2 I roughed the surface up with 120 sand paper step 3 I wiped the surface clean with asatone step 4 I sprayed the bedliner step 5 I primed the bedliner with Krylons primer step 6 I brushed on the acrilic latex exterior paint If you just want the inside painted the bedliner is optinal. To save your self some money I would skip the bedliner bro. It really doesn't do much. Well at least the stuff I used. I hope this will help you
  12. I used auto zones brand. You don't really need it though I thought it would muffle sound but doesn't. It does add grip too which is a perk. I rubed it with 120 sand paper and it came in cans it took 4 of them. It is also paintable but I primed to be sure. I used krylon spray primer and I used a acrilic latex exteroir paint for the gray.
  13. I had leaks so I used epoxy coating on the bottom
  14. I've actually thought The same thing thats why I painted the inside gunship grey. Let me get you the pics.
  15. This is how I did my boat http://www.bassresource.com/bass_fishing_forums/YaBB.pl?num=1226268614/2#2
  16. Ok do you use this when your fishing? So the pressure has alot to do with the fish patterns then huh?
  17. Yea bro that would be great if you could give me that info on the baits Thanx
