How is the smallie fishing in Belvidere? I live in Phillipsburg NJ and have fished alot from shore but I haven't had my boat out there yet. the level has been high and current strong so I been scared to go out in that but I really want to make it on the old del.

can you exsplane a simple and easy way to install a breaker?

Hey guys I got my new trolling motor and went to mount it on the boat. I noticed a attention sticker that says I need to wire a 60 amp circut breaker. I had a hand controlled before and never seen that sticker before. So I used that motor connected directly to the battery. Does this mean I can't do this with my new motor? If so can you guys help me I don't know sh&** about wiring. Just tell me the best thing to do in the situation Thanx

Yes but on the display it does say gain. I keep most of the setting on auto. Gain and Depth. Is this wrong guys? So when ever you turn of the ID usaully the screen fill up with clutter?

As you said, there usually are anglers on the spot so I tend to fish where they aren't, and move in after they leave. But if the spot is empty I start on the shoreline (throwing to all that brush) and work my way out to the end of the point, working the entire flat and the edges of the dropoff. I tend to stick to stickbaits, Fat Ikas and 4" straight worms there. That area I work the plastics real slow. Zel are you fishing all these plastics weightless in that area. I've been throwing alot of shacky heads and chompers. Should I stop and go weightless?

Yea so far we got a Hybrid, and 2 Smallies. You can see them in the Fishing trip section. But rich got the smallies in the shallows tight to cover and the shoreline. Probibly on beds I guess. There heads were dented from the spawn. Checkout the thread dude. So were should I look now for the large mouth?

Hey guys I have a Garmin 140. I have been using it with the fish ID on. I have had no problems with seeing the structure and some cover. Recently a freind told me not to use the Fish ID. So last night I turned it off. Then on the display I had a lot of little block pixelation. It was at the top of the screen and off the bottom. Is this rite? The pixel blocks would be darker closer to the bottom and lighter going up. How do I read this? Once I turned the ID back on it worked properly again. Or so I think.

Yea it was great we were puzzled. When we were looking at it Rich was like I don't understand a carp screwed a smallies LMAO thats what it kind of looked like. Hey is it true if a bass swallows the bait that there is other bass in the area? I know its hard to tell b/c most the time the trebles don't get past there lips. as well as the jigs but has anyone heard this?

Yea I think your rite I did. I was using the shimmer shad t riged weigthless. We couldn't get a topwater bite. If I rememer you got em earlier and mine was later. Then of course the women called and yelled at me LMAO

Dude the fish are close to done the spawn there? What was the water temp? How big is the lake. We couldn't find many beds at all.
