  1. I say congrats to him and his defeat. But My thought is how does he know he's going to break the record soon? What is there another 23 lb. bass in the lake that he knows of? I feel a little BS coming from Japan in my opinion.
  2. This site is the BEST, I don't care what the rankings say about it here. With over 25,000 members I think that for one speaks for itself. I say this site has been Glenn tested and fisherman approved. ;D
  3. I wish I could support our local shop, but the only time their open is the opening of trout and hunting season. So I either support the shops that support Bass Resource or I drive to either Gander Mtn. which is about 45 mins from here or 2 hours to Cabela's. I keep saying to my family one day I'll have my own tackle company.
  4. This sounds like a good idea. Simp, I think Bobby's just getting bored. ;D

I hope I see you down there.
  8. Topwater- My favorite presentation. Soft plastics- T-rigged or weightless. Out of all the presentations for soft plastics, these 2 are my favorite. Crankbaits- After reading the many articles this site has, I can throw just about anywhere. I do want to get better at skipping, I can catch fish around docks but if i can get back there a little further I know I can get my limit quick.

  10. Them are some nice looking bass.
  11. Raul I don't feel bad for you, You'll have nice weather next week. Right now it's 21 degrees and tonight were getting another 6 inches of snow on top of the foot we already got. I go out and plow the snow on my quad atleast that's keeping my busy.
  12. Try a Ribbon tailed worm in Red Shad color with a screw in Tungsten weight. This is a go to bait for me all year, I'll just change weight sizes for different depths. Worm: http://www.lurenet.com/productdetail.aspx?id=yrt7110 Weight: http://www.***.com/viewlarge.html?PCODE=GTFR

  14. I would throw a 3/8 oz. Evo jig. I like 3/8 oz. for a slower fall. Then match that jig up with a Rage Tail lobster trailer.
  15. I don't know what that is. You might want to E-mail your local fish and game with that pic, Maybe they could tell you what it is or might want to know about it.

  17. Thanks Simp, You got me even more excited! Just a few more months guys. ;D
  18. Nice fish. I've seen fish with scars down their sides, I call them battle wounds. The rivers near me holds Walleye, Sauger and Bass so you get to see alot of nibbled fins and scars on them.
  19. Slowing down is one of them. The other is to learn when the pattern changes all of a sudden, to recognize it and adjust with it.
  20. Nice job.
