  1. Another post mentined the fish moving. Do you go back to a spot that was unproductive later in the day, or are they only moving a small distance?
  2. I'd say 2 pounds maybe pushing 3. There's no way that fish is more than that. joe
  3. Great Video Russ. CJ that was a nice smallie you had there. joe
  4. Things do happen for a reason, You got yourself a nice boat there Jim. Cart7t, You should of asked him, But I know what your saying by the wrong time. Jim said a couple different times when we were down there he was selling the boat and cutting his loss. If I had the cash then, I would've rented a truck for Andy to drive it home. ;D My wife would of loved me. One project coming out of the garage and another going in. ;D Hopefully this one brings you years of enjoyment. joe

  16. Get yourself some Please Release me product from Sure Life. Next time you hook'em bad just get it out and rub it on. Keep it away from the eyes. Please Release me stops the bleeding and helps build the slime coat back up, among other things. http://www.sure-life.com/pro_please_release_me.html joe
  17. Mike, I was one of them boaters who had 300 feet of cord and a couple of splitters and I made sure every boat around me was plugged in and good to go. I was just saying in general I liked the lake and wished the weather cooperated so I could've discovered more than I did. ;D You guys take alot of time out of your personal lives for these roadtrips, between calling and visiting these places and for that I thank you. You'll never hear me disagree on where you have it. You say where it's at and I'm going. Next year though wherever it's at I think I'm taking two weeks, One to hang out with the BR crew and the second to discover the area. joe
  18. I haven't had a chance to use C&R yet, the past couple of tourneys were cancelled due to high water. Jimzee good post. Congrats to you and pitchinkid for the victory. joe
  19. interfering. You always could of politely asked him to slide it to the side so you could pull down in and launch, and if he would've said "NO" then I would say "There's no guarantee how that raft is going to look when I run over it then, because there's a sign right there, I GUESS you know how to read." ;D joe
  20. Nice reply Matt Fly. That is what my problem is locating and tracking bait fish. I've been getting better at it locating in the shallows and the channel heading for deeper water. But, I can't seem to find the shad when they go deeper. How deep do they go? Are they right down by first ledge, hump, or some type of cover/structure? I'm just trying to understand the pattern of shad better. When I do find the shad I always have a better day.
  21. I started my son at 3, and now my daughter is now 3 it's her turn. She can't sit still for a long period of time like my son does so it's going to be fun. joe
  22. Yep that what I was going to say. I never have much luck bass fishing at night when the water is below 60 degress. Try getting a scented soft plastic on a shakey head and moving it slow across the bottom. joe
  23. The best things I've done is. 1. Buying better rods and reels. 2. This one was important: Buying a boat getting the heck off of shore. 3. Having a wife that doesn't mind I'm going fishing all the time and spending a ton of money doing it. joe
