oh tay! PENNYSLVANIA GUYS CHECK IN WHO ARE YOU
OH yeah that pond down in Braeburn, That is a tough pond never had any luck but I know theres fish there I seen them jump out of the water in the evening. I think that pond is one of the hardest in the area.http://maps.google.com/maps?f=s&utm_campaign=en&utm_source=en-ha-na-us-sk-gm&utm_medium=ha&utm_term=map That's funny you have a pic from Burrell lake. Crooked Creek is where I got PB from 9 lbs. 8 ozs. I got her right outside of the launch area.

Low End Boat???
I might be buying a 18' bass boat with a 120 hp motor for 1500 bucks. What I did when I was driving to work or wherever I'd be looking in people's back yards for a boat that looks like it's been sitting for while then I would stop and ask them if they were selling that boat sometimes they say no but other times they would say yes get it out of my yard. The one I found The motor was all redone 2 years ago and runs great, but it needs some new plywood, carpet, and some other things done to it but I have a couple months. If I wanted to I could use it the way it is but, I rather put some money into it now while it's winter.

carpet glue
I use both glue and contact cement. What I did was use the outdoor carpet glue for the center of the carpet all the way until the last 2 inches of the lid then I contact cemented all of the edges and wrapped them to the underside and then use carpet staples to secure it. As a carpet guy I do that because your not using so much contact cement and your not fighting it to get it in place. the contact holds the edges tight once allowed to tack up. The outdoor glue won't hold the edges in place like contact cement, THat's why I use both

Some of my lil' girls outings
Great pics and cute little girl you have there, That's why I work so hard in the winter so I have more time in the summer to take my kids fishing. My son is 5 and he LOVES fishing just like dad my daughter is 2 and I don't trust her with a hook yet she's a wild child maybe next year. joe

Cabela's Customer Service is GREAT!
I couldn't get to Cabelas one time so ordered online and they sent me the wrong color lures I called them and they said they would have the new ones out the next day and for your trouble keep the other lures for free. I thought that was the best service I'd seen in awhile

2009 Bass Fishing Goals
That's my No. 1 problem other than that It's using swimbaits more and I would like to learn more about jigging. Also I would like to start fishing deeper for them big bass. As of right know I catch 70% of my fish on topwater the other 30% is a mix of crankbaits, soft plastics, and spinnerbaits I also want to beat my PB of 9 lbs 8 ozs but around here that's going to be hard to do. THIS ONE IS GOING TO TAKE A LITTLE WHILE ;D

Asking About Specific Subject Matter
When I first joined this forum the only thing I did was use the search button and watched the forums for a bit to see what I could learn from it without asking questions. When I felt a little more comfortable to start asking and answering questions that's when I did.

The Burrell Lake well pond, I fish there alot and caught alot of LM and SM out of there never caught a carp out of there yet. I take my kids there alot because it's close to the shop we can fish for a little while then play at the playground. I'll take you to a couple of private ponds come spring around here. A Blow up doll???? Hopefully no kids are around when they open that gift :o- Who is the best team in football?
Steelers........... ;D They made me nervous last night against the Baltimore Ravens.- Do people really talk like that?
Sad, but true. That show isn't far off from the reality of what's going on in the world today. I do some traveling for my job and staying in some of these cities for a couple days and let me tell you I can't wait to get home. Over in Philly someone tried to steal my tires off of my van when it sitting outside 20' away, I mean I could see it sitting there though glass doors. WHACKO- oh tay! I'll take a shot at this, I'm just guessing but it looks like the Tarentum Bridge. What makes me say that is the sign on the hill looks kinda like the Clarion Inn hotel- What does our future hold in America?
Different I think people are going to use more common sense about buying things they can't afford. I should listen too my own advice- What does our future hold in America?
My only plans right now is keeping my store open and running smoothly. My wife and I talked about the future a couple days ago and I said we are going into something big. I don't know about recession only being 28 I'm a little too young for that era. ;D I grew up in the construction field and there's never a shortage of jobs here but lately I see alot of projects stopping and some smaller companies closing their doors. That made me start to do alot thinking about how to keep my doors open. - Christmas exchange.
