I fished a rattle trap when the water was 38 and caught 2 fish then I got cold and went home they worked that day. I never tried a swimbait yet when it was cold so I can't reply to that question

I like the wide gap hooks better, I pesonally like them because it seems I have a better hookset with them instead of the straight hook

What size line do you use? I've caught a couple of LMB off a flyrod but they were small and the larger ones just snap my tippit right off.

I can't believe only 30 members signed up for the exchange out of 15000. Sorry guys I'm a little behind power outage at the store for the whole weekend (bad on business) I tried to come on with my wife's Blackberry over the weekend that was no fun > I had more problems than it was worth. I realized the exchange is harder than I thought, buying for somone you have no idea what they fish with lures,line,etc.etc.

Fishing rhino,, I just wrapped my friends carpet to the underside of the lid then hot glued it, and shot carpet staples in to it so there secure. Aleast there wrapped nicely around all of the edges and don't gotta worry about the edges frayying

I fly fish all summer for smallies with poppers and different flies, but there are days I go up to the van and grab my spinning rod because they don't hit anything I throw at them on a flyrod. I'll go back down to the river and throw a in-line spinner and start to catch smallies.

Here in Pa they tag fish but I don't think they have a payout. I never caught one anyways or talked to anyone that has. joe

I'm the only one that voted for in-line spinners. I picked them because they are my go-to bait, my back up is crank baits. Those in-line spinners are very productive from spring till fall where I fish for smallies.
